The scent is extremely overpowering, reminiscent of some kind of perfume, with no hint of peonies. It is impossible to tolerate such a strong smell, so I won't be able to use it. It's a good thing that it reminds my mom of her youthful perfume, so at least she can use it.
How smelly it is! It's impossible to be in the bathroom, it stinks so bad. It doesn't even smell like peonies, even though the consistency and foam are soft and very pleasant.
The scent has nothing to do with peonies. It is very intense. Based on the reviews, there are people who appreciate it. Therefore, the scent is a matter of personal taste (personally, I don't like it). The other properties of the soap are good. It doesn't get too soggy and lasts a long time.
I don't understand why others like it. The smell is strong, suffocating, and annoying, with nothing in common with peony. I am disappointed. It lathers well.
I absolutely love the scent of this soap. It is rich and slightly bitter. I have never used it for its intended purpose, instead I have kept it in my closet to freshen up my laundry, like a sachet. Over the course of 5 years, the fragrance has not deteriorated and it has remained just as intense as when I first got it. ❤️
