It moisturizes well and has a pleasant milky consistency. I used it in combination with the tonic from the same series, as well as the CeraVe emulsion (green) for washing my face. They work great together, and I got rid of acne after using acids. The serum creates a light film, but it acts as a protective barrier and works well with sunscreen.
