This is a really great item, it cleanses well. I use it after a soft sponge if I want to exfoliate my skin. And important!! It won't work to exfoliate together with a shower gel, it will slide off. First, wash your body with shower gel, and then use the damp sponge on your wet body, and you'll be amazed at how much dead skin accumulates on the surface of our epidermis:))) This is all considering that I regularly shower with gel. A regular sponge doesn't remove all of this, but this exfoliating one does. Just exfoliate on wet skin without gel!
