At first, I was hesitant about the thick texture of the balm, it felt like dense butter. But then I started to soften it with my fingers and apply it to my face.
I use it in the morning and evening. My face feels moisturized, without any greasiness. I like it!
I have combination skin that tends to be dry at times. I bought this product for cold weather care. The texture is very dense but pleasant. In terms of density, it is thicker than Nivea cream in the blue jar. It is a true oil, with shea butter being one of the main ingredients, which explains its texture. It does leave a slight shine on the face and can be felt when worn. Therefore, I will occasionally use it at night as a nourishing mask for my skin.
