Paco Rabanne Olympea Onyx Eau de Parfum is a new version of the iconic Olympea fragrance. Loc Dong, Anne Flipo and Dominique Ropion worked on the composition. It was created for those who are confident in their strength and strive to always win. That’s why the name of the eau de parfum contains the word "onyx", and the cap with an ornament is stylized as a precious mineral. It has long been believed that this black stone gives strength to its owner. Paco Rabanne Olympea Onyx is your personal source of energy and inspiration, designed to seduce and dominate. An unusual bottle, as if from another dimension, personifies fragments of marble and copper.
Top notes are built on the contrast of the refined lightness of water Jasmine and sparkling accents of Green Mandarin.
Heart notes are filled with exquisite Vanilla sweetness, set off with salt with light Marine nuances.
Base notes of a captivating sillage are interwoven with sensual Cashmere wood, multifaceted Sandalwood and animalic Ambergris.
I didn't buy it here, but I'll share my impressions.
The fragrance is beautiful, but it is important to note that it is practically indistinguishable from the classic Olympia to my nose. The only difference I was able to detect is a more intense ginger note, which develops on my skin after about 4 hours. And even then, I was paying very close attention to the notes. It can be a nice addition to a collection or a gift, as it comes in a very beautiful and presentable box.
