For me, Carmex in stick form gives the best results and is easier to apply. Even though this lip mask comes with a spatula, I still find it inconvenient. This is the main reason why I won't buy it again. If the brand releases it in stick or tube form, then I will purchase it.

This product only provides a softening effect, forming a film that steams the skin and pulls out its own internal moisture. Any lip balm would do the same.

It also seems to help heal cracks or sores and provides a more comfortable feeling until they heal completely. It doesn't absorb instantly, which I really like.
