Laneige Berry Lip Sleeping Mask

I impulsively ordered this mask because I had very dry lips and had read many positive reviews. I used it a few times, but it didn't have any impressive or restorative effects. I decided to look up the ingredients and was surprised by the long list, particularly the inclusion of BHT. According to the ingredient analysis, BHT is considered an endocrine disruptor in the EU. It’s a synthetic antioxidant that can cause allergies and has been shown to cause immune system changes in animal studies. Research on rats and mice has linked it to cancer and DNA damage, and it may be harmful to embryos. So, I'm not entirely sure if it's safe to use this cosmetic product. I regret buying it and am doubtful about continuing to use this mask.

I have been using this lip mask for two years now as part of my nightly routine. It does an excellent job of dealing with dryness, providing great hydration and care for my lips. I won't go to bed without it. Additionally, it leaves a pleasant feeling on the lips and gives them a lovely shine. I suppose it could also be used during the day as a substitute for lip balm, as it adds volume and a beautiful gloss to the lips.

The best product you can buy for your lips. I bought a small size and after finishing it, I used Nivea cherry lip balm, which immediately made my lips dry and cracked. That's why I bought a large size of this product and am now restoring my lips.

I have tried both the mini and full-size versions of this product. After using it, I concluded that this lip mask doesn't do anything special for my lips. It's neither good nor bad, just provides enough moisture during cold weather or before applying matte lipsticks. I realized that I will use it until it's finished but won't repurchase it. For me, Carmex in stick form gives the best results and is easier to apply. Even though this lip mask comes with a spatula, I still find it inconvenient. This is the main reason why I won't buy it again. If the brand releases it in stick or tube form, then I will purchase it.

In the first few days, the effect may seem pleasant after applying it overnight. However, after a week, your lips become even drier and develop larger, unfamiliar flakes. This product only provides a softening effect, forming a film that steams the skin and pulls out its own internal moisture. Any lip balm would do the same.
