I bought this cream for my teenage daughter, who has allergies and dry skin. It gently relieves dryness on her face and heals dry, damaged skin on her fingers. My husband tried it as an emergency overnight treatment for his cracked hands, and it worked from the first use. There's no greasy film or stickiness. An added bonus is that the cream is completely fragrance-free.

The face cream is not very suitable - it leaves a strong greasy shine, even if applied very little. It clogs pores in 3-4 days. The Lumene night cream does a much better job of moisturizing the face in winter. The only use I found for this balm is as a hand cream - it moisturizes the cuticles fairly well. It is expensive for a cuticle cream.

Last winter, I received 2 testers of this product. Its rich texture allowed me to use these testers for half of the winter and even saved my very dry skin. It was a lifesaver for me during winter, and not just because regular mass-market creams sting (I have dry and sensitive skin). It restores and protects the skin, and from my observations, it also helps to reduce breakouts and prevents new ones. The texture is quite oily for me, as I feel a bit greasy if I apply too much, but on the bright side, it is also economical. Just a pea-sized amount is enough for my face and neck. It even helped with the peeling on my nose. For my facial skin, it's simply a must-have. However, it's not as effective for my lips.
