I don't know. It's completely made of plastic. It looks like a cheap Chinese product, to be honest. I was expecting softer bristles, but they actually scratch my scalp, and I'm not even sensitive. It has a glossy finish instead of a matte one. My hair gets static when I use it, but that's no surprise considering it's made of plastic. Some people might like these kinds of combs, but to me, it's just a marketing flop. Well, it does comb through the hair, I guess. Maybe all that scalp scratching will make my hair grow faster.
