Split ends, breakage and dryness are constant ‘partners’ of a hair dryer and curling iron. In addition to flawless styling and chic hairstyles, these devices leave behind a lot of side effects. That is why hair stylists recommend regularly using thermal protection products to avoid external and internal damage. The American brand Redken created Frizz Dismiss Rebel Tame leave-in cream to protect fragile strands from temperature damage. Rebel Tame from the Frizz Dismiss range is the cream you need if you regularly use tech styling tools.
Benefits of Redken Frizz Dismiss Rebel Tame:
- suitable for normal and damaged hair;
- protects the hair structure from high temperatures up to 230 degrees;
- reduces the effect of humidity that causes frizz;
- provides a luxurious well-groomed look;
- improves hair smoothness, shine, softness and silkiness;
- increases hair elasticity;
- has a pleasant aroma;
- can be used for coloured hair.-
Apply to dry hair, comb through, do not rinse.

Well, this is one of the best heat protectants I've ever used. It reminded me of the L'Oréal Professionnel line. I had a 500 ml bottle with a pump, which I used up completely. I apply just a little to clean, towel-dried hair, comb it through, and wait for it to dry. My hair feels dense, heavy, nourished, and not sticky. Plus, it has a pleasant scent. I don't understand how anyone could say it has zero effect. Some reviews below claim that, but I disagree.
Overall, the product is not bad, but it's not a perfect match for me. I have straight, dyed hair that tends to be unruly and frizzy. After using this product, my hair is easier to comb (just a small amount is needed, rubbed between the palms). It looks smoother than without it, but it seems a bit dull. The scent is neutral and it's not sticky. I apply it to damp hair. If I use it on dry hair, it feels heavy. I won't be purchasing it again. I think a similar product in spray form would work better for me.
Unfortunately, I didn't notice any smoothing effect.
The product does absolutely nothing. I have curly, porous hair, and for this price, it's a very weak product. I didn't even experience half of what people mentioned in the comments.
This product has a nice scent and is very economical. After using it, my hair is smooth and straight. The photo was taken right after drying my hair, without using any oil.
The product didn't impress me; it doesn't protect hair during styling. I'm writing this after a year of use. My hair feels soft, but it's not manageable and tends to get tangled.
With it, my hair feels like silk.
The product is terrible; don't waste your money on this nonsense. It actually makes your hair frizz even more. The claims about heat protection are completely misleading. It's a waste of money.
This product is simply perfect! It works great on natural hair, and if you use just a small amount, there's no greasiness or clumping. It makes hair incredibly easy to comb through. I tested it on my daughter's hair, which usually gets tangled five minutes after brushing, and now her hair stays soft and manageable for days. As always, Makeup is amazing—thank you!
I thought there was no hope for my hair anymore... It is very fluffy, like weightless cobwebs at the ends. This cream weighs them down and fills them up, which is exactly what my porous hair needs. I believe that for those with normal hair, this product may be too greasy. But for me, it's simply a discovery!
This is simply a find! I am 1000000% satisfied.
If you have slightly porous dyed hair, this product will do the job even if your shampoo is so-so.
I don't know what kind of greasiness some customers wrote about, but it worked perfectly for me. I highly recommend it.
This is a good cream that worked well for my lightened, porous blonde hair. It helps to strengthen the hair structure. You can apply it on both wet and dry hair. The scent is pleasant, although I started getting tired of it after a while. But that's just a personal preference.
I am writing a review after several months of regular use - not impressed. My hair got damaged from blow-drying.
This product is incredibly amazing! My hair feels soft after drying, and it doesn't have that greasy hair effect. I have blonde hair, and it feels pleasant and smooth.
Great scent, very smooth creamy texture, hair looks amazing after drying.
Oh my, oh my, oh my, that's exactly how I can describe all my attempts to use this product. I have natural, porous hair and I bought it solely because it supposedly helps with frizz. After washing, my hair was normal, but as soon as I applied this product, it became several times worse than after rain. No matter how hard I tried to dry it nicely with a regular comb or brush, it was all in vain until I washed my hair again. I'm really saddened that I spent so much money on a product that instead of improving and protecting my hair from moisture, made it extremely unruly even in dry weather.
The product is not bad. It makes my hair shiny and well-groomed, but you only need a tiny bit, otherwise it will make your hair look greasy. I have been using it for about a year and I can see that it provides thermal protection. If you are deciding between Kerastase and Redken, I would recommend Redken.
This is a great product, but you need to know how to use it. That's where the negative reviews come from. Just take a moment to read the instructions and you'll have a fantastic experience.
I didn't like it at all, it made my hair very greasy, it felt like straw after using this product. I gave Redken a few chances periodically, but in the end, it ended up in the trash.
This is simply a wonderful hair product. My hair is dyed blonde. After using this product, it feels like silk, healthy, and well-cared for!
The consumption is extremely low. At first, I didn't understand this product because my hair became tangled and greasy after using it. I stopped using it. But now I started again, I just decided to brush my hair after applying it and everything is fine. It works well for hair restoration after lightening or for blondes. I had a light air touch, so my hair got quite damaged by the dye.
One of the positives is the pleasant smell that lingers on the hair for a long time, it is also economical and moisturizes well. However, the hair doesn't feel very nice to touch, it seems dirty.. it doesn't spread evenly, there is some shine, but it's not the healthy shine I would like, and it takes a while to absorb. For the first two hours after applying it on completely dry hair, it remained damp. I will use it up, but I won't buy it again.
The best heat protection in my life, after which the noticeable effect is truly remarkable. I have long wavy hair, and hot styling has reached a new level of quality. When it runs out, I will definitely buy it again, no matter the price.
After reading reviews here, I ordered 3 thermal protectants at the same time. I got 2 from Kerastase with orange caps and a mint one with a green cap, and this one from Redken. I don't have much experience with thermal protectants, my previous one was from Brae (didn't work for me), but I don't understand where these crazy reviews for Kerastase come from :( My dyed blonde hair is porous, and after using Kerastase, it feels like straw and impossible to dry. It gives off a sticky sensation...
I tried one and then tried the other... the effect is the same... disappointed...
I tried Redken... it's completely different! The hair doesn't stick together, it's loose and shiny. I applied it to damp hair after towel drying and dried it with a medium heat setting.
This is a 5-star product! It has a rich texture and moisturizes the hair very well. For me, this heat protectant is better than Kerastase. I have dry and damaged hair, but with this cream, my hair came back to life!
I really liked it, I tried it only once, but noticed the result. It's worth the money spent, I always saved on thermal protection and there was no effect. After using the hairdryer, my hair feels very soft, silky, and it doesn't get as frizzy. And it smells like a salon, very pleasant.
Super cool heat protectant! It has a pleasant scent and you only need to apply a small amount (economical usage). Hair feels really nice after using it, and it doesn't overheat when using a hairdryer. I am very satisfied. Worth the money!
This product is perfect for curly hair - it doesn't weigh it down and helps in defining curls. The amount needed is really small.
An excellent hair cream! Soft, lightweight, smooth, and with a pleasant scent. I decided to try this brand after seeing that the salon stylist used Redken. It's a shame that there hasn't been a promotion on this cream for a while. I think I bought it for around 500 UAH.
One of the best hair products I've ever had. My hair became smooth, manageable, and the hairstyle lasts for a very long time. I highly recommend it.
