Foundation & Concealer - Eveline Selfie Time Foundation & Concealer
I have purchased this product several times in a row. It has a great scent and is easy to distribute. Considering its price, it is a completely decent product.
It doesn't provide any coverage. It slightly evens out the overall complexion of the face, and that's about it.
I am buying the 11th shade for the third time now, and I love everything about it. It doesn't emphasize dryness if you moisturize your skin well. Thank you, Makeup, for the fast delivery!
I purchased it twice, initially really liked it, but then it started causing inflammation.
Great foundation for its price.
I am extremely satisfied with this product. Shade 07 is a perfect match. The scent is incredible.
The tone is cool. The skin is oily (it also suits my friend who has dry skin), and the pores are wide.
I would rather call it a BB cream. The texture is lightweight, slightly sticky, compared to Missha's BB cream, which is not sticky after fixing. It works well with various powders and powder products (Lamel, Viviene Sabo, LCF, Lamel blush) and cream textures (NYX blush).
I wouldn't say it provides super coverage, it's definitely hard to call it a concealer. However, the tone is pleasant, with a "second skin" effect, and it doesn't emphasize flakiness. Of course, it does settle into the wrinkles under the eyes, but almost all products do that. I've bought it more than once, shade 11, which has a slight pink undertone. The brand didn't leave Russia, so I'll be looking for alternatives.
I bought shade 09, and it perfectly matched my fair complexion.
Great dense tone, this is top notch for the money. The ivory color is slightly light for summer.
I purchased this product and decided to swatch it. It is lightweight enough that I barely feel it on my hand. However, I made a slight mistake with the shade selection. Despite that, I deducted two stars because of the scent. It smells like something my grandmother would wear, and it's a terrible perfume odor.
I have been using it for a very long time. It has a cool tone.
I have been using this foundation for half a year now, shade 10 is a perfect match for me. It doesn't make my skin look too yellow since my skin tone is closer to pink, and I have fair combination skin. The application with a brush is perfect if you prepare your skin well. It covers pores and doesn't emphasize any flakiness. Overall, I am very satisfied, especially considering the price and the fact that the composition is not so terrifying - it was a pleasant surprise. And one of the important factors for me is that this foundation is not tested on animals!
I did not like this foundation. When you apply it to your face, it doesn't adhere well to the skin. Eventually, it starts to peel off if you apply it with patting motions. It settles into pores. Although the liquid control from the same Eveline brand does not see these pores at all. So, with this selfie foundation, there are white dots in the pores. Can it be like this? Coverage is 1.5 out of five. It did not oxidize on me. I got the shade 9. For normal medium-light skin, it is too light. Even white. The longevity also raises questions. After an hour, it becomes more transparent. It didn't work for me. It's a pity.
I have tried Ivory 1 before, then switched to Satin Matt, and decided to order it again because there was a promotion. However, shade 11 turned out to be a bit dark (pinkish and oxidizes similar to Porcelain 105 Satin Matt, which I bought based on reviews). Also, the fragrance is not very pleasant to me. Lately, I feel like Eveline's foundations are not working well for me. I have oily skin, so it's difficult to find the right shade and the oily shine appears very quickly. The coverage is weak. I enjoy reading makeup reviews, maybe this one will be helpful to someone. The photo doesn't accurately capture the pinkish color.
I decided to try something new from the foundation range and came across this particular one recommended by blogger Osia. I purchased shade 09 as I have fair skin, and it turned out to be a perfect match. The texture of the cream is dense, almost clay-like, similar to Missha which didn't work for me in the past. However, to my surprise, this foundation can be applied in a very thin layer or built up for more coverage. I have combination skin, and I'm delighted to say that it doesn't accentuate any dry patches, pores, or wrinkles. A huge plus is that it stays put from 8 in the morning until 10 in the evening, giving a very impressive look throughout the day. I have found myself a new favorite! The only downside is the initial scent, similar to cologne, but fortunately, it disappears after application.
Dense. With it, my combination skin does not shine as much as with antibacterial foundations. Honestly, I liked this one MUCH more than the popular Infallible by Loreal.
Four stars because it can still cause comedones + dryness, so I apply it on top of a moisturizing face gel.
But the most important thing is that it is the perfect primer for the eyelids! I'm not sure about using it daily for a month, I think eyelids need a break. BUT. I have droopy oily eyelids - a "full set", and on this foundation, dark shades from a coffee palette stay put like they're nailed down, for about 10 hours. Not only that, they blend incredibly beautifully.
For such a price, it is very worthy.
Hello!
I wasn't too impressed with this foundation. I have combination skin and it made my skin look very shiny. I definitely need to use powder with it. It feels a bit noticeable on my face. The shade I have is 10.
I will give it another try during the winter season.
The shades are strange... but the biggest drawback is the fragrance, which has an awful smell of men's perfume. However, if it doesn't bother you, it is actually a pretty good foundation that I can recommend to those with oily and combination skin. It provides medium to full coverage and effectively hides blemishes.
The foundation has a nice tone and effectively covers minor under-eye bruises. It is more suitable for individuals with oily skin.
I will add to my mediocre comment. The tone is easily spread, it can be layered for greater durability, or applied on primers or silicone bases, then its durability is excellent. It does not oxidize, has a natural finish, not matte, but moist. It has a light scent of perfumed lotion, so if someone has allergies or other reasons to be cautious of smells, it is worth testing in the store. But, for such a price, it is a find! Take it, you won't regret it! I had much more expensive tones from different segments - luxury, mass-market, and they had more problems than this tone! And, it does not contribute to the formation of breakouts because the skin breathes.
A great foundation! It provides light to medium coverage. You can layer it for a denser finish if desired. It stays on well without smudging. I liked it. Shade 10 is suitable for fair-skinned girls, but not for those with extremely pale skin. It perfectly adapts to the skin tone.
For the price, this foundation is really good. It doesn't show any flakes and applies evenly. The pigmentation is average, but it looks like there's nothing on the face, in a good way. I liked it.
This is not a foundation, but a BB cream! Moreover, it is very similar to Eveline Cosmetics Royal Snail BB Cream 8in1, just slightly thicker. I deducted a star for the unfulfilled promise of "shine-free"! Because it doesn't even provide a natural coverage, you definitely need powder. The coverage is medium, it covers redness but not completely, but the lasting power is really good. Now, let's talk about the shade: in the comments, everyone says that shade number 11 is perfect for fair, but not porcelain, skin. Well, I consider myself not to have porcelain skin, but despite the fact that the tone seemed to adjust to my skin color after blending, I still wish it was lighter. Nevertheless, for its price, it's a good option. Overall, I recommend it!
I really liked this foundation. I decided to try it out of curiosity because I was given a new Eveline concealer that I really liked. I am a fan of Clarins or Korean BB creams. I prefer them to be barely visible on the skin, providing good coverage without a matte finish. This Eveline foundation really impressed me. It is not visible on my skin and does not settle into wrinkles. It can be applied in a thin layer. It's amazing! The shades are as follows: Shade 10 is the lightest, slightly pinkish; Shade 11 is a bit darker, also with a pink undertone; Shade 8 is similar in darkness to Shade 11 but has a neutral undertone; Shade 9 is even darker and has a noticeable yellow tint. Shade 10 is perfect for fair skin. Shades 11 and 8 are great for light skin tones, while Shade 9 is suitable for those who have a bit of a tan. This is my opinion.
Sunday test. Shade 09. Surprised! And pleased! It effectively covers redness and small breakouts, and lasts perfectly for 9 hours with touch-ups. After getting rid of Evelyn, which emphasized dryness and slid off my T-zone, this shade is a game-changer for me!
This is the worst foundation I have ever used. The texture is terrible, it applies poorly and leaves patches all over. On top of that, it also rolls off. It doesn't cover anything at all. In one word - HORRIBLE.
This cream is decent, it effectively conceals minor redness and has a moderate consistency. However, it doesn't completely camouflage my foundation on my skin. I chose shade 9 as I have fair skin.
This is simply amazing!
Background: I am 32 years old with rosacea on the sides of my nose and sensitive, reactive, dehydrated skin that needs nourishment during winter. I usually use luxury ISL and Bourjois Healthy Mix for many years, but during winter, I lack nourishment and protection. While my skin is undergoing treatment and suffering from rosacea redness and breakouts, I was looking for a product to cover and conceal my issues effectively. Since all my products ran out suddenly, I went to the store near my house to find a temporary replacement. I tried out the entire mid-market segment in a well-known store chain with a three-letter name)) and didn't like anything. Out of desperation, I approached the Eveline stand and remembered that my favorite blogger Osia praised this foundation. I applied it directly from the tester to my skin and oh, what a miracle! I bought it, came home, applied the foundation after using an Aloe mask. I had a cosmetic orgasm! The coverage is simply fantastic! It applies easily, the texture is slightly gel-like and slightly creamy, and shade 07 is just perfect. The foundation blended seamlessly, concealing the redness and providing a comfortable feeling. Overall, it is an excellent result for my problematic skin. My skin is smooth, pores are hidden, and my face is glowing! I don't even hesitate to show before and after photos. I definitely recommend trying it for girls with similar issues like mine.
I came across numerous glowing reviews and decided to make a purchase, but ended up feeling disappointed. Truly, this is the cosmetic letdown of the year 2020. I don't know what one should have used before to warrant even the slightest positive feedback for this foundation. The consistency is like liquid shoe cream. It is simply devoid of any density. Applying the cream, whether a thin layer or multiple layers, results in a mask-like appearance (the same goes for density - no matter how much you apply, it won't cover anything). The finish is shiny. Terribly greasy shine! I tried setting it with mineral powder - after 10 minutes, the shine was back. I tried setting it with fixing powder - still, a greasy shine remained. It settles into pores, accentuates all wrinkles, and comes off the face after 30 minutes, leaving nothing behind after 3-4 hours. My skin is normal, sensitive, with enlarged pores. It absolutely didn't work for me. Don't fall for the low price, there won't be a miracle. I don't even have an idea of who "this" could be suitable for!
I bought it after reading the reviews, but it didn't disappoint me nor did it make me ecstatic. The coverage is medium, and it gives a moderate shine in warm weather. However, it doesn't compare to Maybelline. I definitely won't buy it again. Every foundation is very individual for each skin type. The only way to find the right one is through trial and error.
This product works well on combination skin with dry patches and does not emphasize flakiness. However, shade 10 was disappointing as it is not suitable for fair-skinned individuals. Please refer to the photo to understand what I mean.
Ladies, does anyone know if there is a lighter shade available in this cream line? I have looked in many stores but cannot find any samples.
In the photo, I am showing a comparison with another Evelyn foundation.
I really loved this foundation! It has a matte finish, but not overly matte, and it leaves the skin looking alive without any shine. You can apply it as a thin layer (which is what I do) or build it up for more coverage. Even with a thin layer, it effectively hides all imperfections without emphasizing any dry patches. Truly a tone corrector!
Great foundation, I bought shade 10, which is light with a pink undertone - perfect if you don't like a yellowish tint on your face.
This is a very worthy foundation. It applies well, doesn't stain or streak, there is no visible line where it is applied, and there is no contrast with the neck. It covers minor imperfections and doesn't make my dry skin look shiny. It's not fair to compare it to luxury or pharmacy cosmetics. But in the budget segment, I haven't found a better foundation yet. The only difficulty was finding the right shade. I have fair skin, but I'm not extremely pale. Shade 08 Nude Beige seemed suitable for summer. However, this foundation has decent pigmentation, so the overall appearance turned out slightly darker than needed. Shade 09 Ivory was very light. Mixing these two shades gives me the desired result. Other than that, the foundation is very good!
The foundation is really great, it blends perfectly with the skin. I chose the shade Porcelain 10, which is perfect for fair-skinned people. I didn't expect it to be this good for the price.
I purchased shade 9. I didn't quite get it right (my own fault), it is very light. I applied it with a damp sponge. The product applies easily, doesn't streak, and provides decent coverage, although I didn't notice any moisturizing effect. It looks good from afar, but up close... It's better not to get too close, as pores are visible in places where I didn't even suspect they existed. Belita's BB cream looks more natural.
I didn't buy it here, but I'll still leave a review. My skin is not very fair, but the yellow and pink undertones are very visible on my face when it comes to foundation. So, I tested it in the store, and the 10th shade is the most neutral, without any undertones. It adjusts perfectly to my skin color. It slightly emphasizes dry patches, and the scent lingers for a long time, but it's pleasant. The foundation itself is moisturizing and thick. At first, it feels sticky, but then it settles and leaves a velvety texture on the skin. I liked it and it replaced my Maybelline Fit Me.
Great coverage, doesn't leave any residue on fabrics, no irritations, and stays just as well as Loreal.
Great coverage, doesn't leave any residue on fabrics, no irritation, holds up just as well as L'Oréal.
For this price, it's perfect. I bought it on sale for 43 UAH, 7 tons. It has a very beautiful slightly beige shade. It spreads very well, in the morning I set it with banana powder and it stayed on perfectly until the evening. It didn't run or sink anywhere. It started to shine a little in the T-zone, but it's not critical, considering it's 28 degrees outside. I bought it out of curiosity, to see what you can get for this price, and it outperforms many luxury products. I didn't expect that.
