Brunettes can now stay cool and composed with SoColor Power Cools. The palette of the coolest ash shades allows for experimentation from icy to smoky without the risk of red or copper tones. The combination of copper-neutralizing dyes with a low ammonia content ensures each shade remains pure and provides lasting cool, clean tones.
How to use: Use disposable protective gloves. Mix equal parts of SOCOLOR.Beauty with Matrix Cream Developer (choose from 3%, 6%, 9%, or 12% concentration), that is: 90 ml of SOCOLOR.Beauty and 90 ml of the developer. A 1:1 ratio should be maintained. Apply the mixture evenly to the hair. Do not use metal objects (clips). Leave the mixture on for about 35-40 minutes at room temperature. After the recommended time, thoroughly rinse the hair.
I dyed my hair with shade 6a (half a pack) and 6 av (full). At first, when I washed it off, I thought, "Wow, finally the dye covered my redness!" and the roots were well-colored without any orange tint. But after a month, or maybe three weeks, the color completely washed out and a red stripe appeared by the roots. So overall, I liked the dye, but to maintain a cool tone, I will have to tone it frequently. The picture on the left is before, and on the right is after.
4AA + 3% oxidant at the root resulted in a beautiful cool brown shade, and at the length, it achieved a level 4 with a hint of red undertones - unfortunately, it did not completely eliminate the unwanted red. I am unsure if I will repurchase it.
I really liked this hair dye. I dyed my hair in a dark brown shade by mixing colors 4AA and 6AA. The result is a beautiful cool brown with an ashy undertone.
