Modern day nail technology is pushing the boundaries of creativity, taking the entire nail art to the next level. Many new designs have lately popped up and already become trendy. However, gel polish manicures continue to enjoy great popularity, mainly because they last much longer than standard ones.
Every nail technician knows well that a base coat is essential, as it protects nails and helps gel polish to stay put. The choice of products offered by the market now is so wide that no wonder that anyone can get easily confused.
F.O.X, a famous American brand, has released Base Rubber Gel, a super effective base coat made of high-quality raw materials. This thick, transparent gel is designed to be applied before gel polish. Base Rubber Gel provides excellent adhesion between the gel polish and natural nails, preparing it for the application of a coloured coating.

Apply a thin coat to a nail primed with F.O.X Ultrabond Primer. Cure in a LED lamp for 30-60 seconds or in a 36W UV lamp for 2 minutes.

This product is easy to apply and blends nicely. However, it constantly chips and peels at the tips, which I have never experienced with cheaper bases. In fact, the strong base even peeled off halfway down my nail.
I am satisfied with the base, it holds well on the nails.
Constant delamination :-/
This product has a persistent issue with delamination. It is disappointing and frustrating to see such a recurring problem. The delamination occurs frequently, making it difficult to trust the durability and quality of this product. It is highly inconvenient to have to deal with delamination on a regular basis. Overall, this issue greatly impacts the usability and reliability of the product.
I received a base, applied it. After a couple of days, it started to peel off. I then read the description in English and found out that it should be applied after the base, meaning it's a top coat! They must have mixed it up. I don't need a top coat, I need a base coat. I am very disappointed!
I really liked this foundation; it has a nice texture and is easy to wear. However, it tends to oxidize when exposed to heat from a lamp.
This is the best base coat I have ever used! The nail polish stayed on without any chips for at least 3 weeks. The base coat applies perfectly, without spreading. It has a great consistency - not too thick, but not too runny either. I used to use the KODI base coat before, but it doesn't compare to the F.O.X. base coat. I definitely recommend it. :)
Very good foundation. It applies smoothly and has good self-leveling properties. It does oxidize, but it's tolerable. I even liked it more than the rubber one from "Kodi". It performed well during wear. I highly recommend it.
It effectively smooths out the nail plate, but customers have reported a very strong burning sensation on the nail. I haven't personally tried it yet.
