The cleansing ritual with Venus Cleansing Oil is based exclusively on natural oils, meticulously selected for oily and sensitive facial skin. The key component of this oil blend is castor oil from Ricinus communis seeds. With a high capacity to absorb skin oil and impurities, this ingredient does not disrupt the protective barrier of the epidermis, yet effectively fulfills its purpose.

Apply to dry facial skin using massaging motions. Then, with damp hands, gently massage the face to thoroughly cleanse every area of the skin. Finally, rinse off the emulsion with water.
I purchased this oil, which is my first cleansing oil (hydrophilic, cleansing). The scent reminds me of regular castor oil (which is also included in the composition), there are no added fragrances. When rinsing, my face feels greasy and does not transform into a milky liquid. It needs to be washed off with gels, cleansers, and the like. In short, it is not different from regular olive oil or any other oil. I didn't understand the product. I used it once, and I'm not thrilled with it yet. I will update my review after some time.
I have used this oil several times now. It is thick and almost odorless (which is a pity), except for a slight synthetic smell (which is also a pity!!!). I applied it in different ways - sometimes on dry skin, sometimes on wet skin... When in contact with water, it does not turn into milk. I remove it with a cleansing gel twice. It seems to cleanse decently. I would prefer a lighter consistency and fragrance. My skin type is oily. It did not cause any allergies.
