The fixative is simply amazing. Before applying makeup, I treat my face with the fixative, then apply foundation, and then treat it again with the fixative. The makeup lasts wonderfully.
It lasts for about an hour on me. However, I found another way to use it. If I curl my lashes with a curler before applying mascara, let them dry a bit, then apply the mascara, the effect is much better. My lashes are short and mascaras don't help much, but with this method, they look a bit better.
I have combination skin. I can't say that the spray does something incredible, by the end of the day the makeup doesn't look as cool anymore, but the effect of the fixer is noticeable! Not a 5-star product, but not bad for summer. It sprays evenly and doesn't spit. The scent is a bit sharp, but it disappears after 1-2 minutes. Overall, it's decent.
I was satisfied with everything about it! The makeup stays on well. In one of the reviews, someone mentioned that it's a 4+....and I agree with that!
I didn't buy it here, but I liked it. I'm buying it again. It works well for those with a shiny T-zone, and it makes them look good when applied.
The spray is easy to apply, but it's better not to use it on mascara as it tends to run.
However, when it comes to foundation, powder, and other products, it stays on for a good 4+ hours.
The dispenser spits instead of spraying, so it is impossible to use it as a fixative. It can still be used as a base, if you apply it somewhere and then distribute it. But why go through all this trouble? I didn't expect this from Rimmel.
There are some drawbacks to it – indeed, it is applied not as a veil, but as a spray, and it slightly dissolves makeup, which is why I got used to applying it before mascara, so it wouldn't smudge. And it tingles the eyes a bit until it dries.
BUT it passed the ultimate crash test – I had to take a bath with makeup on, it was a steamy affair, water droplets literally dripped down my face and OH MIRACLE – after it completely dried, the makeup was still in place, it didn't run anywhere and looked amazing! And mind you, I'm not a fan of natural makeup and everything was bold. Even the contouring stayed in place! And this was after a day at work! If this isn't the best proof of its effectiveness, then I don't know what else is needed))
This product works like a facial lacquer in a good way. I will definitely purchase it again.
This product is not good, I do not recommend it.
I am a little disappointed as I don't really see a difference with and without it. Furthermore, the spray squirts but does not disperse evenly. It is difficult to evenly cover the entire face. I used to use Makeup Revolution, and I liked it much better. At least it didn't spit.
I am thoroughly disappointed, I did not expect this from Rimmel. It is impossible to use this as a primer, as it leaves behind a sticky layer that desperately needs to be washed off the face and makes it impossible to evenly distribute foundation. As a setting spray, it also performs poorly. The scent is pleasant, but the spray spits on the face and it is difficult to distribute it evenly. After it dries, there is a sticky feeling. It is simply impossible to apply it to the most problematic areas (under the eyes and on the eyelids) due to it spraying everywhere, so it doesn't hold eyeshadow, mascara, or smudge-proof concealer under the eyes. Did I notice a difference in the longevity of the rest of my makeup (lipstick and foundation)? Not really. Perhaps if you have extremely oily skin or if you like to apply three layers of foundation and heavy contouring, you might see some effect. However, for normal skin with just one layer of makeup, spraying water on the face would provide the same benefits. Maybe if the manufacturer changed the dispenser, the situation would improve, but it is unclear why the consumer should be the one dealing with this, rather than the manufacturer.
It really holds up.
I really like this spray! It's really cool. Before, I tried the Makeup Revolution spray once. This one works better. It extends the longevity of my makeup on my oily skin for about 5-7 hours, then I touch up my makeup a little with mattifying wipes or powder.
But I took a long time to get used to the smell, it smells strongly of alcohol! And this sprayer! At first, everything was great, it sprayed like a fine mist, but now something happened with the sprayer and it feels like it's shooting! But I transferred it to another bottle. Although I didn't have such problems with the Makeup Revolution spray.
But no matter what, I will still continue to buy it because it's really amazing!)))
I really liked the hair fixative, but the spray nozzle is just awful. It literally spits out large droplets and doesn't spray the liquid evenly. Is it like this for everyone or am I the only one who got "lucky"? I'm deducting one star for this.
A wonderful product. With this spray, my favorite Korean BB cream finally stopped melting and running under the sun like ice cream. I apply it before and after makeup. Now it stays on my face until the evening, even on hot summer days. Plus, it has a refreshing effect, similar to thermal water or mist. I haven't experienced anything like this with other fixatives.

This product provides excellent hold! It is the best fixative I have ever tried, and I have tried many. It leaves the skin with a matte and smooth finish. My makeup lasted a full 18 hours.
