Right after the purchase, I made a small hole in the plastic cap and inserted just one stick there. This is more than enough. Guests even say from the doorstep that our house smells deliciously like melon.

However, I didn't like the melon scent. It had two fragrance sticks, but the scent was barely noticeable. I'm not sure why, but I won't be purchasing it again. Another downside is that it runs out quickly.

I do not recommend it. Even with just one stick, it smells throughout the entire 4-room apartment. The smell of melon is everywhere! It gives me a terrible headache. What's worse, after exactly 24 hours, 1/5 of the stick evaporated. So, imagine, buying it for 5 days and enduring this horrible constant headache.
