If your skin frequently suffers from redness and irritation, the soothing face cream from the Korean brand Klairs is here to help. It can be used in various situations, such as after sunburns, peels, or applied locally to irritated areas. The main advantage of this product is its instant refreshing effect, which slightly lowers the skin's temperature, eliminating the sensation of burning and discomfort. One of the key active ingredients in the formula, guaiazulene, derived from chamomile, gives the cream its distinctive blue tint. It instantly reduces skin sensitivity, while other components help diminish redness, accelerate healing, and retain valuable moisture.
Features of Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream:
– Guaiazulene and Centella Asiatica effectively reduce inflammation and soothe the epidermis;
– Provides a light refreshing effect and decreases skin temperature by approximately 5.9°C, instantly alleviating discomfort;
– Broccoli and white mulberry extracts offer antioxidant protection, evening out and enhancing skin tone;
– Peptides stimulate regeneration processes, improve skin texture, and maintain its youthful appearance;
– Helps reduce sensitivity while simultaneously increasing resistance to external stress factors;
– Ceramides restore and maintain the skin's barrier function, preventing moisture loss;
– Shea butter and hyaluronic acid provide excellent hydration and soften the skin;
– Purslane and chamomile extracts reduce redness and irritation;
– Fragrance-free.-
Apply a small amount of cream to cleansed skin and gently massage for better absorption. Suitable for night-time use.
I am disappointed with this cream because even Bioderma Sensibio provides better hydration. Initially, my skin feels okay for the first few hours, but then it becomes completely matte and dry. When used overnight, my face appears tired in the morning. I am taking systemic retinoids, so I need more moisture, and this cream doesn't deliver. Its texture is also not very pleasant—thick and almost paraffin-like. When washing my face, I can feel a film of the cream being rinsed off, indicating it doesn't absorb into the skin but rather sits on top like a mask. As a result, it tends to roll off when applying makeup, as mentioned in previous reviews. However, it does look nice on the shelf, and that's about the only positive thing I can say.
I'm very satisfied with this purchase. This is truly the first cream that gently applies to the skin. It doesn't cause any breakouts and doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy after application. It's top-notch.
