I have purchased my third bottle of this product. This cream has been the only one that has helped my daughter's atopic dermatitis under her knees! We have tried various creams before, but each time we used Mustela, her condition would worsen. This cream is the best for us, and we haven't had any flare-ups for almost 2 months now.
The first impression of this lotion is that it is sticky and adheres to clothing. It feels like the skin is suffocating under a film created by the lotion. There is a scent of some grain or oil, and it has a slightly sweet taste (I accidentally tasted it). Perhaps this could somehow help with dry skin, I'm not sure. Currently, the feelings about it are mixed.
This product has been helpful for my child's atopic dermatitis. After using it to treat problem areas, we now use it daily and there is no more redness or peeling. Lipikar stopped being effective, but this product is good.
My favorite emollient.
Both my child and I have eczema. We have tried almost all moisturizing products on the market.
Aderma and Avene are always at the top.
Depending on the season, I use different forms - balm or cream for autumn/winter, lotion for summer.
Everyone mentions the smell - but I don't notice it at all, it's neutral.
And the film - that's what emollients are all about, to protect the skin. Avene has an even more noticeable film, but for eczema sufferers, it provides comfort throughout the day.
And here's a life hack - all emollients should be applied to slightly moist skin. After bathing, don't dry yourself completely, just pat yourself dry and apply the product to damp skin. Emollients seal in moisture, so applying them to dry skin can even be uncomfortable, especially for children.
I am ordering this product for the second time. My daughter has atopic dermatitis. I am satisfied with the results. The scent and film immediately fade after use, especially since we haven't experienced any flare-ups with this product. Our skin is healthy. Everyone's experience may vary, but it worked great for us.
The moisturizing effect of this product is average, but it has a very persistent smell that doesn't fade during the day. Additionally, the lotion leaves a film-like residue on the skin. From this series, I would recommend the cream instead. It is more expensive, but firstly, it provides better results and secondly, it is completely odorless.
We didn't buy this product here, but I decided to leave a review just in case it could be useful to someone.
My child is almost 2 years old and has had atopic dermatitis since they were 3 months old. It seemed like everything cleared up during the winter, and I hoped it wouldn't come back, but in the spring, the rashes started again.
A couple of weeks ago, we bought this lotion based on our pediatrician's advice. We replaced it with the lotion from Bübchen. The doctor said that Bübchen is good for moisturizing normal skin that is not prone to atopic dermatitis. We use Aderma in combination with the Lipikar AP+M balm. I apply Aderma 2-3 times during the day and the Lipikar balm at night. I can say that within 2 weeks, the redness has noticeably decreased, although there is still some dryness, but my child scratches less.
We will continue to apply it and observe, but overall, the condition of the skin has improved after using the lotion.
This is a very good product for children with very dry and irritated skin. I have been using it for more than one jar now. I bought it on Make up during a promotion where it came with a free oil. It's a great deal! Please continue to have more promotions like this.
I have been using this product for my second child who has atopic dermatitis. It effectively softens the skin and eliminates dryness and redness. After applying it, there may be a slight sticky feeling due to the oats, but this is insignificant compared to the healing effect it provides.
This product worked great for my atopic dermatitis. It has a light formula that absorbs well into the skin. There is a scent, but it is fairly neutral. The dispenser is convenient to use.
My 8-year-old child has Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and we have tried many different products. She rated this one as excellent. It effectively reduces toothaches and redness, therefore preventing further irritation. The only small drawback is that it doesn't absorb well into the skin and can be felt on the surface.
Effective remedy for atopic dermatitis. After just two days of use on my daughter (3 years old), the skin redness has disappeared, and the night itching has completely vanished. I highly recommend it.
