Hair Color - Wella Professionals Koleston Perfect Me+ Special Blonde
I tried coloring my hair with this dye for the first time. I chose the shade 12.1 and used a 9% developer. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed. I will go back to using Schwarzkopf Professional Igora Royal Highlifts 12.1.
I have been using this hair dye for about three years now, and I have blond hair. Out of all the shades I have tried, the 12/1 shade suits me the best. It gives a neutral color that is neither gray nor yellow. I only dye my roots, and the stylist emulsifies the length in the wash for a few minutes. As a result, my hair is lively, long, and in good condition, even though I have been lightening it continuously for 20 years. I use a 9% developer, as my natural hair color is medium blonde, and it lightens the roots perfectly. Recently, I decided to try the 12/16 shade, but it didn't suit me as there was too much red in the tone. I switched back to 12/1. I haven't found anything better than this dye, even though I have tried Matrix and Revlon.
I have previously left a review about this product. Let me refresh it.
For me, this is the best hair dye that effectively lifts the roots without using bleach, only at a 9% level. Additionally, the overall quality of my hair remains relatively normal with proper care (using conditioners, heat protectants, and masks).
I have thin hair, and if the dye is not suitable or too aggressive, my hair immediately falls out and breaks (I have tried Matrix Super Blondes, Londa, Pharmavita, Majirel, and also Loreal and other Super Blondes).
In the photo, the shade is 12/81 at a 9% level, and I left it on for 50 minutes. There is a bit of violet balm at the end. I use anti-yellow balms and shampoos from dyeing to dyeing. I prefer those with more violet tones rather than blue, as I do not like the shade of hair with blue.
I have been using this hair dye for over a year now. Previously, I used powder to lighten my dark roots, but this dye does a wonderful job of lightening them up to a level 10. I tone my hair with shades 12/81 and 12/0 every 2-3 months.
The paint is amazing. I used 12/1 color with a 12% developer for my roots and 10/01 color with a 1.9% developer for the rest of my hair. Both products are from the same brand.
I bought it for the first time. Used it to lighten my natural base. I mixed it with a 12% developer, which worked perfectly. It lifted my level 6 base to a level 10. The shade is pleasant, cool, and not yellow. The consistency of the dye is quite smooth. However, the scent was quite strong. It lasted well on my hair. For the root area, I needed 40g of dye and 80g of developer. The result is fantastic, my hair looks vibrant and feels nice to touch. I will definitely purchase it again.
I tried the shade 12.81 and I really liked it. It lightens well from a medium base. It doesn't even require toning.
The dye is amazing! I used shade 12.81 with a 12% developer, and the result was a pure blond without any yellow tones. Plus, my hair feels great after coloring, and it has a beautiful shine.
I have been using Wella Koleston hair dye for many years. I have tried other cheaper options, but I always come back to Wella Koleston. I recommend not skimping on it because this dye gives my hair a beautiful color, shine, and quality. I dye my hair blonde and then tone it. I always achieve great results, and over the years, I have developed successful combinations of shades based on the final tone I want to achieve.
Just a nightmare. The color of the 12th shade is practically black with a slight greenish tint. I have been using it for many years, but I have never experienced such an effect before.
The gray color of 12/89 is nice, but it's just not my preference.
I cannot help but leave a review. I am immensely impressed with the result. The color is unparalleled, and the outcome exceeded all my expectations. Thank you, Wella professionals and Makeup!
Thank you for the delivery. I have been using this paint for a while now, but I must say that the current price is quite disappointing.
This is my second attempt at coloring with this paint: this time with the shade 12/89. I am very satisfied with the result: there is no brassiness, so I will continue coloring. My natural color is about 5 levels deep. The hair quality is great! The color did not burn during the hour of application, everything went very comfortably, and there were no adverse reactions. I mixed it with a 12% developer.
I used the 12/0 root dye and followed the instructions. However, my roots turned out too reddish when viewed up close, but overall the result was decent. There are two possible explanations: 1) either my natural base color was too dark for this dye, or 2) pregnancy may affect the coloring process. Next time, I want to try 12/89 - I've already ordered it. The quality of my hair is completely different compared to before using the powder - it feels like silk, I just want to touch it. No negative reactions were found.
Blond can stay intact! The best lightening formula for hair health. My favorite shade is 12/81, cool, but without any grayness. It is important to follow the instructions and use the recommended 12% developer and leave it on for 50 minutes.
This hair dye is perfect for Slavic hair! The blonde color is beautiful and pure. Remember not to leave the blonde color on for more than 20 minutes, and use a higher percentage of developer! After using this dye, your hair will feel like it's been treated with keratin, making it bouncy and shiny.
Based on recommendations, I bought shade 12.61. My hair has a natural base of 8-9. I used a 9% developer in a 1:2 ratio. I barely managed to endure it for 30 minutes, and it smells terribly of ammonia - it irritates my eyes and burns my scalp horribly!!! My skin felt like it was burning for a day after coloring, and my head felt like it was splitting from the chemical attack on my blood vessels. It's important to note that I am not allergic and I don't have overly sensitive skin - I've been coloring my hair blonde for 26 years. This "professional" product is the first time I've encountered such a horror. Ladies, be careful with this dye!!!!
I have been using this product for 3 months now. I switched from Kaaral. I have tried shades 12/0 and 12/7, but I have settled on 12/0. It doesn't damage my hair, and the blonde color turns out very beautiful and doesn't fade. I currently use a non-brand developer, but I don't think there is a significant difference. I will definitely order more.
This is an excellent hair dye that is gentle and effectively lifts hair to the desired level without causing any yellowing or fading. When used with the recommended 12% developer, it does not damage the hair and the color comes out exactly as shown in the picture. It did not cause any itching or redness on the scalp. The color looks very expensive.
I purchased shade 12.22, just like in the previous design with highlights, and the color was excellent. But this time, the roots darkened by about 9% with an 8th level oxidant. How is this even possible?! And when it faded, my hair turned red. This coloring completely ruined the consistent, clean blonde color I had before. In the new design, I would not recommend using this dye, so don't take the risk.
This is a very good dye that lifts my base from 7.1 to a clean 10. It works wonders!
Good quality paint.
