I tried coloring my hair with this dye for the first time. I chose the shade 12.1 and used a 9% developer. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed. I will go back to using Schwarzkopf Professional Igora Royal Highlifts 12.1.
I have been using this hair dye for about three years now, and I have blond hair. Out of all the shades I have tried, the 12/1 shade suits me the best. It gives a neutral color that is neither gray nor yellow. I only dye my roots, and the stylist emulsifies the length in the wash for a few minutes. As a result, my hair is lively, long, and in good condition, even though I have been lightening it continuously for 20 years. I use a 9% developer, as my natural hair color is medium blonde, and it lightens the roots perfectly. Recently, I decided to try the 12/16 shade, but it didn't suit me as there was too much red in the tone. I switched back to 12/1. I haven't found anything better than this dye, even though I have tried Matrix and Revlon.
I have previously left a review about this product. Let me refresh it.
For me, this is the best hair dye that effectively lifts the roots without using bleach, only at a 9% level. Additionally, the overall quality of my hair remains relatively normal with proper care (using conditioners, heat protectants, and masks).
I have thin hair, and if the dye is not suitable or too aggressive, my hair immediately falls out and breaks (I have tried Matrix Super Blondes, Londa, Pharmavita, Majirel, and also Loreal and other Super Blondes).
In the photo, the shade is 12/81 at a 9% level, and I left it on for 50 minutes. There is a bit of violet balm at the end. I use anti-yellow balms and shampoos from dyeing to dyeing. I prefer those with more violet tones rather than blue, as I do not like the shade of hair with blue.
I have been using this hair dye for over a year now. Previously, I used powder to lighten my dark roots, but this dye does a wonderful job of lightening them up to a level 10. I tone my hair with shades 12/81 and 12/0 every 2-3 months.
The paint is amazing. I used 12/1 color with a 12% developer for my roots and 10/01 color with a 1.9% developer for the rest of my hair. Both products are from the same brand.
I bought it for the first time. Used it to lighten my natural base. I mixed it with a 12% developer, which worked perfectly. It lifted my level 6 base to a level 10. The shade is pleasant, cool, and not yellow. The consistency of the dye is quite smooth. However, the scent was quite strong. It lasted well on my hair. For the root area, I needed 40g of dye and 80g of developer. The result is fantastic, my hair looks vibrant and feels nice to touch. I will definitely purchase it again.
I tried the shade 12.81 and I really liked it. It lightens well from a medium base. It doesn't even require toning.
The dye is amazing! I used shade 12.81 with a 12% developer, and the result was a pure blond without any yellow tones. Plus, my hair feels great after coloring, and it has a beautiful shine.
I have been using Wella Koleston hair dye for many years. I have tried other cheaper options, but I always come back to Wella Koleston. I recommend not skimping on it because this dye gives my hair a beautiful color, shine, and quality. I dye my hair blonde and then tone it. I always achieve great results, and over the years, I have developed successful combinations of shades based on the final tone I want to achieve.
Just a nightmare. The color of the 12th shade is practically black with a slight greenish tint. I have been using it for many years, but I have never experienced such an effect before.
Excellent paint, I have been using it for about four years and I am very satisfied.
Just amazing! I lighten my hair using a mixture of dye and developer. Here's the result (in the photo, I also toned it with a hair balm in a cool shade). The dye gives a warm outcome.
Everything is great!
This is truly the best hair dye for blondes. After using it, my hair looks incredible. I use the shade 12.81 with a 12% developer and dye my hair every 3-4 weeks.
My favorite paint ever! No matter what other paint I use, I always come back to this one.
The hair dye provides excellent lightening. I used the 5th base with 12/81 + 12% developer and now I have a clean base for the 10th base, so toning is not necessary. In my case, I have gray hair, so toning is necessary, but if you don't worry about such things, you can skip toning. The color is wonderful and even. The hair is soft, shiny, and doesn't tangle, even without a mask or conditioner. So, this dye is great. If you have doubts, just give it a try and you won't regret it.
The shade 12/0 + 12% oxidant looks great on dark chestnut hair! The dye is gentle enough and the hair looks well-groomed after using it. I have been using it (although I sometimes change shades) for about 15 years now.
Great paint.
Hair color: Swamp brown. Color code: 12.11.
This product is absolutely fantastic!
I am satisfied with the result.
We tried this dye for the first time for our makeup. The shade was 12/81. Although the dye had a seal, there was air in the tube! We decided to take the risk and try applying it to a small section of hair. After 20 minutes (out of the recommended 50), the dye turned a dark purple color (usually it is a light purple). It is possible that the dye froze accidentally during storage, but Makeup did not provide any comments (which is a shame). Due to the air inside, the tube itself became very crumpled, and the consistency of the dye was strange. By the way, the dye is original, not a counterfeit.
Now, onto the review of the dye itself (the one that was not spoiled): it does not sting or burn, it lightens beautifully, and it does not make the gray hair shine. I recommend always using a 12% developer instead of 9% to achieve the best result and neutralize all the ammonia. The special blonde dye is only intended for NATURAL hair, and it should never be used for toning (also, do not apply it from the roots to the ends).
The color shade 12/81 is a violet-ash. In the end, it creates a very beautiful and moderately cool shade, not white. The hair looks beautiful and shiny. Even if you have a natural shade of 6, you can achieve a good blonde color and excellent hair quality.
The 12.11 native 9th oxidizer for 40 minutes. The result is dark roots with a violet-green color at level 6-7. I understand that the color has ash tones, but this is supposed to be super blonde, shouldn't it lighten? The shade is not the ashiest 12.11. I wanted to try this dye for a long time, but unfortunately. The price with the mini oxidizer is 400 UAH - the result is ridiculous. On the positive side, the dye doesn't burn, doesn't smell, and the hair is of good quality.
The quality of the paint is superb, and the color is beautiful. The service is top-notch.
It's so great when the hair dye doesn't burn!) It's worth the money. I dyed my level 6 hair with a 12.22 dye and a 12% developer, following the instructions 1:2. Absolutely no green tint. I don't know what others were talking about in the comments, but I assume they didn't use the same method. Maybe if you apply it to bleached hair (which you definitely shouldn't do), it might turn green as it neutralizes red pigments. Overall, the dye has a thick consistency, mixes easily, applies smoothly without dripping, lightens well, and doesn't cause any burning sensation.
Very good dye! It made the sixth base into a beautiful beige nine, completely not yellow, and that's a huge plus! I got the shade 12/81. Of course, there is a difference compared to powder blond, but with proper toning, you can easily smooth out the transition and achieve a gorgeous color. I highly recommend it!
I was looking for a way out of the situation: "everything is closed because of quarantine, and my roots have grown OUTRAGEOUSLY!!! So many GRAY HAIRS!!! It was very difficult to understand what to do. In the end, after watching a bunch of videos, I decided to take action. The result turned out to be not bad. BUT! It didn't cover the gray hairs. In other words, I became lighter because of the excessive amount of gray hairs, and they remained as white as they were before))))
I really liked the final shade after coloring. There is a slight yellowish tint near the roots, but I usually have that even after going to the hair salon. I like that my hair remained the same as it was: not overly dry or brittle.
I tried the Wella Koleston ME+ Special Blonde Sandre Violet 12/96. In the first photo, you can see the base color with a lot of yellow tones. The last dye I used wasn't able to remove them completely. In the second photo, you can see my hair wet after coloring, and in the third photo, my hair is dry after rinsing.
I don't like ash or green/blue tones, so I chose the violet shade. It doesn't give any green tones and covers the yellow tones well.
The quality of my hair is fine. It doesn't dry out as much as Matrix Color or Estelle, but there is still some effect, like with any bond product. There is a slight pink tint on my hair, but it washes out after a couple of washes. It leaves a beautiful beige/warm tone.
I used the Wella developer 9% in a 1:2 ratio and left it on for 50 minutes. I only applied it to the roots. You can't use this mixture on already lightened hair (for those who don't know).
I will see how it behaves on my hair and update my review later.
Since the quarantine and all the salons are closed (, I am one of those people who don't understand anything about this and trust the master at the salon). But I had to take matters into my own hands) It was scary due to my lack of knowledge. But it turned out not bad. I have A LOT OF GRAY HAIR, and my hair is stiff. I used 12/1 hair dye and a 12% developer. I left it on for 35 minutes, and my sister, who doesn't have much experience, applied the dye only to the roots. After foaming it up, I left it on for a little while before rinsing it out.
