Apply onto dry, unwashed hair. Exposure time 35-45 minutes.
I suddenly decided to dye my hair red. I have naturally dark blonde hair, and part of it had been lightened before. I didn't want to go to the salon, so I took a risk. My biggest fear was that the roots wouldn't dye properly and the lightened part would be too bright. But no, the color came out very even. The only thing is, shade 8/43 seems a bit too pale to me, so next time I ordered 88/43, I'll try it and maybe show it to you.
Perhaps someone, like me, is a redhead, so I'm sharing my recipe. My hair is blonde, with a 7cm regrowth and dyed length. It took 2 packages, and I pondered for a while about the developer. I don't understand why people choose a high percentage if they don't have gray hair.
I used 8/43+8/34 with a 1.9% developer. I applied it to the roots first, then moved on to the length. I started the timer (45 minutes) after fully coloring the roots, so the length was only exposed for about 20 minutes. My hair didn't feel dry, and there was no burning sensation (I did a strand test). I will see how it washes out and may update the review later.
The palette is big, but it didn't quite meet my expectations/reality. Moreover, it dries out the hair.
This product is not suitable for people with allergies. The claim of a low likelihood of allergic reactions is not true. I did an allergy test, and two days later, I experienced a terrible allergy that now requires treatment.
I made a mistake with the shade when I bought it, but the paint was impressive. It is long-lasting and doesn't dry out the hair. It effectively covered my gray hair using a 3% oxidizer.
