This product has a gel-like consistency and a dark color. It leaves the skin slightly tinted. However, when applied to my combination skin, it does not absorb completely and leaves a sticky layer on the skin. However, when I apply a moisturizer on top, it eliminates the stickiness and leaves my skin incredibly hydrated. It provides an amazing soothing sensation. Despite the slight stickiness, there is no discomfort at all, on the contrary. It has an incredible herbal scent that is not off-putting. I already know that I want more of it.
This is a face gel/serum that does not resemble a typical cream. I bought it for combination skin to use under a heavy foundation, and it performs very well in that role. For oily skin, I think it would be a great alternative to a cream during the day, while for dry/dehydrated skin, it should only be used as a serum. Its advantage is that it does not clog pores, which happened to me with a turmeric cream. This one can be safely used without worrying about the condition of the skin. The gel is quite thick, orange, gives a nice color to the skin, and has a herbal scent.
