Masters of the French brand La Corvette have crafted an incredible collection of soaps, the recipe for which has been known since 1900. Staying true to it, they cook their products in large cast-iron cauldrons and use exclusively natural components without any chemical additives or fragrances. At the heart of the composition is olive oil, which is rich in vitamins A, C, D, E, F, K, as well as B-group vitamins. Thanks to this, the skin receives incredibly deep and intensive nourishment, as well as the necessary hydration. At the same time, it is effectively cleansed of dirt and dead skin particles. This soap is wonderful. I have been using it without changing for over a year. After switching from shower gels and using only this soap, my problem of dryness and itchiness on the skin has disappeared. I don't use it for my face and hair, of course, but for the rest of my body, it's perfect. The scent is specific, but it doesn't linger on the body. However, you can be confident that there are no synthetic fragrances.
The scent of this soap is reminiscent of household soap, and the feeling on the skin is the same. I tried it on a man, who had never had any reactions to various types of soap before. However, even he experienced extremely dry skin with flakiness after using this soap. I can't understand how this can happen when the soap is advertised as moisturizing.
This soap is very drying and has a strong scent. I ordered 2 bars, each weighing 300 grams, being confident that the soap would be good since I had previously purchased soap from the same brand (the regular classic one), which was very good. However, I will give this one to my grandmother for household purposes.
