A 40% exfoliating solution with a pH of 1.5, based on mandelic acid. It possesses potent antibacterial effects: reduces skin inflammation, diminishes skin blemishes, including acne. Apply the product to cleansed and dry skin of the face, avoiding the eye and mouth areas. Leave on for 3-4 minutes, then apply a neutralizing gel for 1-2 minutes, gently massage, and rinse off with cold water.
This is a good exfoliator, as it leaves the skin smooth and radiant. I have had aggressive peels done by a cosmetologist before, so for my skin, this product was too mild. However, overall, it is a good product and I will definitely order it again.
I have bought this product before and I really like it. At first, it was unbearable to endure for a couple of minutes. Last time, I managed to keep it on for 20 minutes and my skin peeled off nicely. The result afterwards was fantastic, so I highly recommend it.
Bielenda's is much better. Highly recommend all Bielenda's acids. I don't understand, why Apis acids aggravates and sensitises my skin, while Bielenda's doesn't, even though it is supposed to be the same thing
Ferulic acid from APIS is wayy better in improving skin texture and acne marks
Very weak. I have tried both 15% and 20% strength. There is some effect, but it is very weak. Perfect for beginners.
I bought it at a discount for 350 UAH. It is simply amazing for this price. It can definitely compete with Mediderma gels. However, I wouldn't recommend it for inexperienced hands.
This is my first experience with a chemical peel. After reading many reviews about almond acid, I decided to try it since my skin is prone to acne. I must emphasize that even though the acid is meant for superficial peeling, it is still an acid and an active substance. I apply it very carefully using a cotton pad, leave it on for 3-4 minutes, neutralize it, and rinse it off. I repeat this procedure every four days. After three treatments, my skin has become much smoother, and even old scars have faded! I am definitely satisfied with the result! The most important thing is to remember about safety and proper skin care afterwards. I will do up to 10 treatments and repeat it in the winter for sure.
