Perhaps someone will find my review helpful. However, I absolutely do not recommend this cream. I have combination skin that is prone to breakouts, and I have been treating acne for 7 years. I always used a different cream, but it ran out and I had this unused one at home as a gift. I used it for about 2 weeks and the results were terrible. My pores became enlarged, I had a lot of closed comedones and subcutaneous pimples. My skin was already completely free of breakouts, smooth, and clean. I absolutely do not recommend it. I give it 2 stars for the pleasant scent and temporary effect of even skin.
The cream is nice, but sometimes it feels like it melts on my skin. Especially when it's hot, but otherwise it's all good.
I have been using this product for 3 years exclusively. I have pores, pimples, and uneven skin texture. I am even afraid to switch to something else because when I use this product, I don't have any breakouts and it holds my powder well without smudging. I also love their micellar water and rose face wash. I recommend to everyone who has the same problems as me to remove makeup with their rose micellar water, wash your face with the rose face wash (don't choose the green one). And apply this cream. Your skin will gradually even out (breakouts will somehow disappear). I am 35 and before using this cream, my skin was like a chocolate bar with nuts. Now everything has disappeared. It is perfect under powder and foundation, just make sure to properly cleanse your skin. With this skincare routine, there are no flaky patches on the skin.
This cream is just average, neither exceptional nor lacking. It doesn't deliver any noticeable effect, but at least it lasts for a long time (which is its only positive aspect).
It does mattify, but throughout the day even SPF rolls off on it, and after a week of nighttime use, my whole skin was covered in inflammations. It didn't work for me. The scent is strongly chemical, which may be important for someone.
Combination skin, no issues with breakouts. This cream is good, it doesn't roll off and doesn't cause any pimples. It absorbs quickly and doesn't feel sticky, it mattifies the skin. It doesn't have an overpowering smell and lasts for a long time. It won't provide super-duper hydration, but it's perfect for maintaining the skin during the summer, in my opinion.
I expected more from the cream. It leaves a somewhat silicone-like film, so it appears that the skin has become more even and better. However, the effect only lasts for a few hours, and it is not therapeutic, but only cosmetic.
It provides pleasant moisture, but leaves a mask-like feeling on the skin. When you sweat, it creates a greenhouse effect because it doesn't allow moisture to escape, resulting in even more breakouts. I used it for 3 months, but once I realized its issue and removed it from my skincare routine, my skin condition improved.
This cream is amazing! As soon as I start using it, my pimples disappear immediately. I have normal skin with open pores, post-acne marks, and occasional breakouts. I have already used three jars of it. I used it during winter and spring, and it provided enough nourishment, leaving my skin super. During the summer, I decided to try a different cream from Renew, but as soon as the cold weather arrived, my skin started peeling and I developed small breakouts. I put that cream aside for warmer weather and returned to this one. It probably suits me perfectly.
I really liked this cream. I have problematic skin that is prone to acne and blackheads. The cream does not dry out the skin and I have significantly fewer breakouts when using it together with the cleansing gel from the same line. I usually use it at night. I don't like creams with a strong scent, and this one is a perfect fit.
I have been using this product for over a month, so I can leave a review. It does help with reducing active red breakouts on my face, although these breakouts have now turned into under-the-skin pimples (the only positive aspect is that my face doesn't feel tight or overly dry like it sometimes does with combination skin). Another positive is that my face doesn't appear shiny like it does with La Roche-Posay Effaclar. Therefore, I am giving it two stars. Overall, I will look for something else for skincare.
Did not help with breakouts, wasted money. Does not reduce inflammation on the face, and it's quite expensive.
I have combination, problematic, sensitive, and dehydrated skin. At first, it seemed like the cream was wonderful since it perfectly evened out my skin tone and had a matte effect. However, after a week of using it, my skin developed a significant amount of breakouts.
The cream is really great. It has a nice texture and a pleasant fresh scent (it reminds me of some mint and gentle menthol). The skin becomes matte but not overly dry after using it. On touch, the skin feels velvety.
The only downside is that it cannot be used as a makeup base - the CC cream applies unevenly and in patches on top of it. My friend had the same experience, so I only use this cream at night or in the morning when I don't need to go anywhere or apply makeup. I have to buy a universal cream from Cerave because makeup applies well on top of it.
The cream has an awful silicone scent and, to make matters worse, it caused subcutaneous pimples.
This product worked well for my problematic skin.
After visiting a cosmetologist, I was recommended this face cream for skincare. I am very satisfied with it. It quickly helped restore my skin after the procedure, and I use it for daily care. However, there were moments of peeling, especially when applying SPF (20 minutes later). Overall, I highly recommend the cream. I saw comments saying that if you wipe your face with a toner before using it, there won't be any peeling.
The cream has a mattifying effect and soothes the skin. However, it tends to roll off, which is absolutely awful.
Terrible cream! It oxidizes and turns pink in the tube. It smells like ammonia-free paint! People, think about what you're putting on your face! If you have inflammations, it won't help, it will worsen the situation! It doesn't even suit any skin type! I have combination skin. It also doesn't work for charcoal. In short, it's a waste of money.
This is an excellent mattifying cream that soothes the skin and leaves no redness behind.
This cream is worthless! I didn't write a review right after the first use, even when I liked the cream and it seemed like the inflammation was going away, but then everything returned to square one! I have been using it for just over two weeks. Money thrown away! I will continue using it until the end because the cream smells nice and slightly moisturizes the skin.
This cream is very good. It soothes the skin, making it smooth and pleasant to the touch. It doesn't leave a film or feel sticky, nor does it shine on the skin. It's my favorite among the creams from this brand.
"An excellent remedy for oily skin."
I bought this product to try something new after using their Bioderma Sebium Hydra Moisturising Cream, but I'm really disappointed with it. It feels heavy and doesn't compare well to the previous one I purchased.
No effect whatsoever, difficult to apply, and rolls off incredibly easily.
We were pleased with the cream - I bought it for my 17-year-old son. It cleared up the inflammation, and his face became "cleaner". We used it in combination with the face wash gel from the same brand.
It works well, but in order to see results, you need to use it for a week.
The product has a light semi-liquid texture and a barely noticeable scent, making it suitable for the warm season. It didn't provide the desired matte finish, so I'll try something else.
Overall, I really liked this cream. It soothes problematic skin, moisturizes, mattifies, and helps reduce breakouts. It should be applied to cleansed skin. The effect is noticeable after just one week of use. However, for acne scars and serious breakouts, it takes a longer time to see results. The packaging is convenient, but the cream is used up quite quickly (30ml volume). The Makeup service is top-notch. Orders are processed promptly, and delivery is very fast!
One of the best products for problematic skin. A dermatologist gave me a sample, and I happily bought it afterwards. At first, it feels a bit oily, but only for the first minute. It moisturizes very well, which is rare for this kind of cosmetics. It also mattifies perfectly and really removes redness, where there are remnants of pimples. I am just soooo satisfied!
I do not recommend this product as it tends to roll off easily. Additionally, it leaves unpleasant sensations on the face.
Terrible cream that rolls off. I do not recommend it.
I bought it at the pharmacy. The cream slides off, you can't even touch your face. It also says on the label that it's a great makeup base. I spoke with a representative from Bioderma about this and they recommended using it alone. No additional toners or serums. Just cleansing and cream. But the situation hasn't changed. So I don't understand if this cream actually works at all, or if it just leaves a film on the skin, waiting to be washed off or easily rolled off with any touch.
This cream was perfect for me. Surprisingly, nothing at all rolls off. I also want to mention that it doesn't dry out the skin, but mattifies it. I have oily skin and it suited me perfectly. Additionally, it is not advertised as an acne healing cream, but rather intended for moisturizing problem skin. Perhaps the reasons why this cream didn't work for people lie not in the cream itself, but in the incorrect selection of cosmetics.
I experienced clogged pores, blackheads, and acne breakouts. This has never happened to me, even during my teenage years. I don't understand how this product can be marketed as suitable for combination and oily skin when it not only fails to solve the issues but actually worsens them.
I bought this product not for makeup, but at the pharmacy because it was not available here at the time. What I want to say about it is that I don't understand the real purpose of this cream, as it doesn't really have any effect. I waited and waited for results, but got nothing. It can be used under makeup, it holds up if applied very carefully, and powder prevents it from rolling off, surprisingly. However, without makeup, it's a disaster, it rolls off! But I don't recommend it, as it dries out the skin quite a bit. Overall, it doesn't fulfill its functions at all. I'm giving it three stars simply because it didn't cause any allergic reactions, and for that, I'm grateful.
The cream is lightweight and didn't cause any irritation on my face. However, its downside is that it tends to roll off easily and is not suitable to be worn under makeup at all.
The cream is amazing. I bought it on the advice of a dermatologist to treat mild acne. The cream evened out my skin tone and prevented the appearance of pimples. It also mattifies the skin excellently. The blackheads have become less noticeable. The only decent downside is that a couple of hours after applying it, there are some redness and slight itching on the skin. However, they disappear during the day, so I only use it at night. During the day, I use the Bioderma Sebium Hydra cream.
Finally, I have found a product that doesn't leave any stickiness on my skin even after several hours. It truly mattifies and doesn't cause breakouts, making it perfect for oily and combination skin.
Great cream, it effectively evens out the skin tone. Redness disappeared in just a couple of days.
Surprisingly, this product clogged my pores, leading to breakouts even in areas of my face where I have never had any before. The dense texture may not be suitable for summer.
I have been using it for 2 weeks now and the results are incredible!
I bought it not here, but at a pharmacy. The cosmetologist recommended this cream to me as a moisturizing cream for oily sensitive skin in the summer. I really liked it. The cream doesn't leave a greasy film. When applied, it gives a silky and matte finish, as if powdered. It applies well and doesn't roll off. I have been using it for 2 years already. For winter, I opt for a denser cream.
The cream matches the description and does not create a feeling of having cream on the face.
I was also recommended this product by a doctor from abroad. The cream is just okay. My skin feels oily in the morning (my skin is thin and slightly dry). There are products that are much better. I don't recommend it for those with thin skin.
I have sensitive combination skin prone to breakouts. This line of products was recommended by a cosmetologist for daily care. I really like this cream - it visibly mattifies the skin and dries it out a bit. It doesn't fully absorb, but forms a soft layer on the skin that feels very pleasant to touch. It can't be called a film, more like a silky dusting, non-sticky and non-greasy. It is very convenient if you don't use any other product on top. However, this surface rubs off if you rub it, which means you can't apply foundation on top of it, but powder works just fine. Within 3 days, I already noticed that there were fewer inflammations and shine on my skin. I use it together with the cleansing gel and Global cream. It would be great to have the option of ordering small trial sizes to make sure the cream suits my skin before purchasing it.
The cream is impossible to use under makeup as it rolls off. It didn't have any effect on slight mattifying or redness (sensitive skin).
My dermatologist recommended the Sebium line to me when I was 15 years old. Thanks to this, I managed to cure my acne. Some products from this series stopped working for me, but this cream has remained my favorite for 6 years now. I apply it locally to problem areas (at night) and always see good results in the morning! I definitely recommend it.
Very impressive. In reality, all skincare products have a very individual effect. This one suited me so well that I have been using it for sure at least 5 times already. It eliminates shine, reduces breakouts, and is also not as aggressive as other products for treating problematic skin.
