In 2005, the French perfumery house Creed unveiled a fragrance named Original Santal - a modern interpretation of scents created in the 19th century for the Austro-Hungarian Emperor Franz Joseph. Today I received the product and, overall, the fragrance has remained the same as before, despite the sale of assets and change of ownership of the perfume brand. As for its longevity, it is subjective. Personally, I can feel it for a long time, enough to enjoy it myself, but it is not overpowering to irritate people around me. In general, the market trend for perfumes is focused on this kind of longevity requirement, as the scent of niche perfumes lingers for a long time and can be sensed by people in close proximity, without bothering those at a neighboring table in a restaurant. Creed is the king of perfumes, and for me, Santal even sounds more pleasant than the more expensive Aventus. So, it's a matter of personal preference. Thank you for the service and product quality.
The durability is very weak.
I tried a sample of this product. In my opinion, it is better than other woody fragrances like Bois du Portugal, Himalaya, and Royal Oud, as it doesn't have that nauseating sweetness and powdery feel. However, it is quite boring. It smells like an Indian store with spices and incense. It cannot be compared to GIT and Aventus as it is not on the same level.
And here it is, finally. Everything is great: the scent is mine, and the longevity is excellent.

A very worthy addition to a men's perfume collection, this one should be on hand for any occasion, especially since it's Creed! Comparing it to other Creeds, in my opinion, is completely inappropriate. How can you compare Santal and Aventus? They have completely different types of scents - like comparing fruits and woods!
Santal is truly an intense oriental type, with its power in the initial opening and softness over time. Aventus, again in my opinion, remains consistent in scent throughout, until it fades away.
Santal is definitely suitable for evenings, a warm and calm scent, whether it's winter or summer doesn't matter.

My favorite among Creed fragrances! It has a very warm and beautiful scent, so I bought it as a gift for my beloved husband. There is no doubt about the originality of this product, everything is great. The only thing I didn't like is that the perfume came without the protective film, and the courier from Mist Express accidentally made a mark on the perfume box with his hand(!) when he was opening the package. Conclusion: your couriers are the best! I have no complaints about the store, on the contrary, guys, thank you so much for the affordable prices during the crisis!
Definitely a test! It takes a while to reveal itself on me. What about the feminine side? It's all subjective, maybe there are some notes (people, it's non-standard). The longevity varies, spring wind is a 4-, sun is a 5. Winter and autumn ??? The sillage is still undecided. They say it's there, but the spring wind is strong. Overall, it's worth attention. For me, it's a 4, as I prefer Aventus more.

Why is it classified as a men's fragrance? It's at least unisex. The combination of spices in this line is impressive! It has a sweet and cloying scent, almost like a fairy tale for New Year's. I can't even imagine which men would wear this fragrance! My advice: if you plan on giving this perfume to your loved one, start with a sample (just in case they don't like it), and also try it on yourself. Spray it on your fur coat, for example, and it's amazing!)))
My fragrance! It has a slight spiciness, but it's so classy and long-lasting. I began my acquaintance with the Creed collection by purchasing samples of Santal and Vetiver. That was 4 years ago. Since then, I have acquired the entire Creed range in 30, 75, and 120 ml versions. Santal holds a special place for me! It is a very unique fragrance, extremely pleasant and desirable. Purely masculine. It's difficult to describe in words the unusual, luxurious, and slightly smoky tangy lightness of the scent - you have to have it and use it. Trust me, it's worth it!
