I purchased shade #16, a rich dark berry color. It does dry out my lips, but I believe all matte liquid lipsticks do that. Unfortunately, I cannot wear it because I have some kind of reaction to this lipstick. After about 20-30 minutes, my lips start burning like crazy, and even after removing the lipstick, they continue to burn for some time. After the first time, I had painful redness around my lips, which took a while to heal.
