My husband has been using this balm consistently for 7 years. It effectively softens his beard without leaving an oily residue. The scent is luxurious.
I really like this manufacturer, they have many products with cool scents. However, unfortunately, this particular balm has a terribly unpleasant smell... I am very disappointed, it is impossible to use... I will order a balm from proraso with wood & spice ingredients, as I have an oil with that scent and it smells incredibly cool.

This balm has a perfect scent, a truly fresh smell. Men who visit barbershops and use old-school colognes will be completely satisfied with the scent.
I also use the Proraso Azur Lime Beard Balm, and I like everything about it too. However, this balm is slightly thinner than the one mentioned above, it is denser, but it's not a big issue.
It is suitable for those who have a really large and thick beard; it is not suitable for stubble.
I would like to share how to achieve the perfect beard styling effect:
- Wash the beard with shampoo.
- Condition the beard (not mandatory, but desirable, as it makes the hair much softer and straighter. The conditioner costs about 130 UAH).
- Apply the balm to the wet, clean, slightly damp beard, rubbing it into the hair and skin.
- Take a comb and a hairdryer, and start drying the beard at medium temperature, shaping it as desired. The warm air acts as a hair straightener.
The effect is fantastic. I have been styling my beard this way for years, and it works great!
