Clay Face Mask "Manuka Honey and Tea Tree Oil" - Freeman Feeling Beautiful Deep Clearing Facial Clay Mask + Cleanser, Manuka Honey + Tea Tree
I frequently purchase products from this brand. I first heard about them about five years ago from an American beauty blogger. I was thrilled to find them available on this site, so I didn't have to worry about shipping. I've already found some favorites.
Initially, I thought the anti-stress mask would top my list, but over time, the honey mask has become just as appealing to me.
1. The Manuka Honey and Tea Tree Oil mask does an excellent job of cleansing pores and drying out blemishes. It delivers on its promises. Unlike the 4-in-1 mask with apple cider vinegar, it's suitable for those aged 30 and above. Its texture is somewhat runny, resembling sour cream, but it spreads easily. The only downside might be the strong scent of tea tree oil. After using the mask, a moisturizing toner is a must, as it can leave the skin feeling tight.
2. The Anti-Stress Face Mask with Sea Salt has a thick clay texture, a pleasant scent, and a vibrant blue color (perfect for those unexpected encounters in the hallway when the lights go out). It provides a cleansing effect rated 4 out of 5, doesn't over-dry the skin, and leaves minimal tightness after use.
3. The 4-in-1 Face Mask with Apple Cider Vinegar is a very strong mask-scrub. It's probably not suitable for people with dry or mature skin due to its intense and sharp smell. However, the downsides are outweighed by its incredible "wow" cleansing effect. It's not suitable for frequent use, though.
4. The Cleansing Clay Mask with Avocado didn't show any remarkable effects. It's like a regular clay mask that you can make yourself with pharmacy-bought dry clay, except for its bright green color. The fragrance is strong.
Thank you! The results are great.
After leaving the mask on until it completely dried, my skin turned red.
This mask is fantastic; it leaves my skin cleansed and silky. It's saved me more than once.
I really like this mask. I'm already on my fourth tube. It provides extra care and mattifying effects for my oily skin during the summer; otherwise, I end up looking shiny. However, it's a mistake to rely on it as the main solution for eliminating shine. Only a well-rounded skincare routine with properly chosen products and nutrition will do the trick.
I like this mask. It cleanses well and mattifies the skin. It does dry out the skin a bit, but within reasonable limits. The key is not to leave it on the face for too long. I rinse it off using a sponge or a cleansing mitt. I like all the clay masks from this brand.
I bought this mask for the first time. It works well and feels nice on the skin.
I previously purchased a clay mask with marine minerals and had a great experience. This time, I decided to try the Manuka honey and tea tree mask and was very disappointed. It's just terrible. I don't recommend it. I used it three times and saw zero effects! On the fourth use and beyond, my whole face turned very red, almost like an allergic reaction, and it calmed down after 45 minutes, even with applying cream. I had to throw it away. It was a waste of money. I've never had allergies to honey or tea tree before, so I suspect this might be a fake product. It's full of chemicals. I'm considering giving the apple cider vinegar version a try, as it has been recommended, but if it turns out to be another dud, I’ll never buy from this brand again. Be careful!
This product feels like a gimmick, to be honest. The effect lasts only a couple of hours, and the scent is very artificial. I was drawn in by the "Made in the USA" label.
The effect of this mask lasts for just one day, at least during the summer. I used a sachet and applied it all at once, though it could be stretched for multiple uses. However, I couldn't find a small container to transfer the mask into. The mask is a creamy white color with a light honey scent and a creamy texture. It doesn't dry quickly on the skin, possibly because I applied a thick layer. Regardless of what the manufacturer says, clay masks shouldn't be left to dry completely as the clay can draw too much moisture from the skin, necessitating the use of cream to fill the pores again. I can't say my pores became very clean, but there was a noticeable improvement. The mask works gently, making it suitable for those with sensitive or dry skin, even though it's marketed for oily skin. Depending on the application, a thin layer might work for oily skin, while a thick layer is better for dry skin. Removing the mask is quite a challenge; you need to wipe it off with a tissue first, then rinse with water, and follow up with a cleanser. There's either very little tea tree oil in the formulation, or none at all, since it doesn't have any hint of it.
Here's my take on the results:
- It mattifies the skin for a day, but the T-zone gets shiny the next day.
- It leaves the skin as soft as any other mask.
- It removes blackheads, but there are more effective products out there.
- Pimples and redness may heal faster, but not significantly.
- There are no unpleasant sensations during application.
I won't be purchasing it again. For now, apple cider vinegar remains my favorite.
The mask is very good. It dries and mattifies nicely.
I've used it once so far, and I like it. I’ve never been disappointed with a Freeman mask.
Great mask!
I mistakenly wrote the previous review. I bought several different oils from this brand and got confused about which one was which. Now, about this mask—it’s amazing! It’s not sticky, has no scent, and applies easily. That was the first thing that impressed me, especially after trying another orange one from them before. After rinsing it off, I thought there was something wrong with my vision. My pores had significantly tightened, and my skin tone was evened out. My face looked porcelain-like, which is incredible considering I have problematic skin with an uneven tone and blackheads. This mask achieved what nothing else ever could. I only want to use this mask from now on.
The product has a bit of a rubbery smell. My eyes felt a slight sting while applying it, even though I didn't apply it near my eyes. It's very thick and takes a long time to wash off. The effect might be a matte finish, but overall, I didn't really like it.
I bought this mask a month ago from another website, and I'm very pleased with it. It soothes the skin and gives a nice matte finish. It's perfect for the summer. I'll definitely purchase it again.
