Hair Spray Lightener - Joanna Multi Blond Spray
I decided to add my own review, along with a photo. So, I have dark brown hair with about 35-40% gray hair, highlights, and my roots have grown about 10 centimeters. My main desire from the spray was to even out the color of my roots and lengths, and to slightly conceal the gray hair. I was a bit scared because I know that some products can lighten hair with a reddish color, but I decided that if I don't like it, I can always dye it. I used the spray twice, according to the instructions. After the first time, my hair became slightly lighter, about one shade. After the second time, it became closer to a light brown with a warm undertone, but it looks very natural. The gray hair became less noticeable and my roots and lengths almost matched. On one side it's a bit more visible, but there's almost no transition on the other side. The quality of my hair hasn't changed, it's still soft and shiny, but proper care is necessary. I want to take a break and even out the transition between my roots and lengths on the other side. Overall, I'm satisfied. I thought it would be worse. Ladies, if you're not afraid of a warm tone, I definitely recommend trying it. However, if you have ashy hair, I don't recommend it because you'll most likely be disappointed.
This product is my recommendation for light brown-haired girls in winter. And for those who know how to use a brush, it can also create a nice volume. I like the scent, it smells like coconut, just like paint!
A very interesting tool for those who are not in a hurry. I have been using it for a year, and I have only used one bottle so far. My natural hair color is a level 7 tone (chestnut or dark blond), and it is lightened to a level 9. A dark stripe grows out, and I spray it on the roots and then dry it with a hairdryer. It works better when there is sunlight compared to winter. It lifts the color to an 8 level, after around 10 applications, it won't lift it any higher. It gives me a warm shade, which suits me. It was very offensive when I decided to go to a salon, and they did the same thing as the spray, but charged me 6000 UAH, and it still grows out with a clear stripe, while with the spray, there can't be a clear stripe because it is a spray, wherever I spray it, it works and looks natural. The spray itself doesn't smell very pleasant, like chemicals, but it doesn't damage the hair.
I have been using this spray for about 4 months, once a week, and I am satisfied with it. I use it to dye my regrown roots to avoid a strong contrast. It does dry out my hair and scalp a bit, so it is not recommended to use it frequently. It has a strong chemical smell.
After using three bottles of this product, my hair acquired a warm wheat shade, resembling sun-kissed hair. I really like it because I developed an allergy to dye and needed to find something else. It lightens the hair by 2-3 shades without excessively drying it, but if you're looking for a blonde shade, this product may not be suitable for you.
Question for the girls: Could you please tell me if it illuminates the hair to a cold shade or to a yellow/red shade?
While I cannot comment on the effectiveness of the spray yet, it was unpleasant to see the inscription on the packaging that said, "Use according to the instructions," when there was no instruction in Ukrainian language on the packaging itself. I believe that it is necessary to translate and provide the consumer with the manufacturer's instructions for such a product.
I don't know how the girls used this spray, but it didn't have any effect for me. However, from the first time I used it, it brightened up and performed its function.
The top is suitable for light blonde hair, giving a sun-kissed effect. However, I used it very carefully and gradually because it can be drying. Nevertheless, it looks natural, to the point that even hairdressers were surprised and asked me how I achieved the lightening effect. I used it for about a month and a half, taking breaks in between. The scent is strong.
The product arrived well-packaged and I have used it about five times. It has a strong scent, but it disappears after drying. It gives a slightly burnt effect to my dark auburn hair. I will continue using it, hoping for even better results.
I prefer other similar products more.
Very happy with this spray. Really worked to lighten my boring brown hair. Didn't damage hair in any way and gave good even coverage of colour. Not too keen on the smell though! Will definitely buy again.
I have been using this product gradually, and it has kept my hair in good condition. However, I must say that the desired effect is quite weak. It doesn't compare to the Sun Kiss product.
I bought this product a few years ago, and now I'm using it again in winter. I only use it to cover up the occasional gray hairs with highlights. My hair is naturally chestnut. Personally, I didn't expect it to lighten my hair to a reddish color. To achieve the desired effect, I use it three times after each hair wash (spraying it randomly around 10 times on my head). My hair becomes slightly dry and longer afterwards. Then I wait for about 3-4 months before using it again.
Recently, I went to the hair salon to freshen up the ends of my hair, and the stylist said, "Your hair looks beautifully sun-kissed."
The only drawback of this spray is its smell. It is strong, long-lasting, and chemical until the next hair wash.
No effect.
Hi,
I’ve never dyed my hair - it’s a very dark blonde
What is this spray:
Hair Spray Lightener
Joanna Multi Blond Spray
I presume it’s not natural- would it damage the hair?
Many thanx X
Hi, Alice Batterham. As we are just the retailer, it is highly recommended to consult your hairdresser on the products that are suitable for your hair and how they should be used on it.
After the redesign, the effect is not the same. It has become weaker, and it should lighten better in the sun during the summer. However, overall, I am satisfied with it. The color is beautiful.
Hair lightening spray.
The design has been changed, but I hope the formula remains the same.
I'm buying it for the second time.
I have dark blonde hair. I cover it with a reddish blonde shade. I lighten the roots with the spray. A couple of uses are enough to prevent the roots from standing out too much until the next coloring.
It makes my hair greasy, so I apply the spray on weekends.
I can't say anything about the negative effects of the spray on my hair because I use a hair mask after washing, hair oil, and heat protection if I blow-dry my hair, which I do very rarely.
However, I do get small pimples on my skin after using the spray. They disappear quickly.
Perhaps it's just my reaction.
I will continue to use it.
I can recommend it.
The product made my hair lighter, but with a strong reddish tone, it was a terrible product!
I really liked it! I found out about it from reviews, and I used to use Loreal Sunkissed. There are very contradictory reviews about this product, some people liked it, while others said it damaged their hair. I decided to take a risk because all hair lightening options are harmful to them, with any kind of dye, in any salon, and you can only avoid this damage if you take care of your hair. I tried it, and it didn't damage my hair at all! Here's what I did: I washed my hair with regular shampoo, then used a high-quality expensive mask or conditioner, and rinsed it out. I towel-dried my hair and sprayed it with the product, then blow-dried it. Since my hair is dark, I sprayed it again during the process and continued blow-drying. Every other time I washed my hair, I didn't use the lightener, I just used a mask and let it air dry. My hair is long, straight, thick, and very dark brown. The ends were split before and after using the product (just like when I was 12 years old and when my hair was shoulder length), so I just need to trim them. In other words, consider the condition of your hair. If it's in good condition, with proper care, there won't be any damage. If your hair is thin, weak, and prone to breakage from lighteners, then this product is not suitable. The shade you achieve also depends on your hair color, but in any case, it will become warmer due to the removal of pigment. If you are going for a blonde look, I think you can just use products for blondes to counteract any yellowing, as they are needed for blonde hair even when using hair dye.
I am very satisfied with the spray, I am using it for the first time, but the result is pleasing. The delivery is as always top-notch. Thank you.
I have previously used John Frieda, but decided to try this one. In my opinion, John Frieda works faster and more actively (although it gave my hair a slight reddish tint, even though I am a brunette), whereas this spray currently works like a summer sun. It smells nicer than John Frieda, like a light hint of coconut, maybe.
I have dark brown hair and it's glassy, so the color doesn't last longer than the first hair wash. Half of my head is already gray. I hide the gray hair by lightening it, but I have to go to the hairdresser every 1.5 months and pay 800 hryvnias... It's expensive for me. But I want to look beautiful... I bought this spray. I have already applied it several times to dry hair roots and sat in the sun... My dark roots turned reddish))) The gray hair shines like fish scales)) But it does lighten! I think the reddish color should also become a little lighter... We'll see. I haven't noticed any damage from this quick lightening, but I also use heat protection, oils, and masks. Let's continue experimenting.
I am already a very light natural blonde. But after a couple of uses, it gave me the effect as if I had spent a month at the seaside.
By the way, it didn't dry out my hair, it seemed to actually nourish it. It smells like almonds.
Amazing! The yellowish tint at the roots is completely toned down now, giving my hair a uniform shade from the roots to the ends. It has transformed into a stunning platinum blonde color.
Excellent. It effectively brightens.
Thank you for the delivery. I will give it a try.
It works. I have dark brown hair with highlights. It smoothed out the contrast between my roots and the colored strands, making them one shade lighter after the first use. The formula clearly contains peroxide, as it got on my hands and my skin was white for a couple of hours. It's an unusual product, and I will definitely take it with me to the beach.
Good spray, but don't expect immediate results. After three uses, it lightened the roots to match the main length color (golden blonde) and also slightly lightened the dyed length. It smells like coconut and peroxide, but the scent is subtle and doesn't linger. I apply it to almost dry, clean hair. I noticed that the spray also straightens my naturally curly hair, and it stays almost perfectly straight until the next wash. My hair is thick and reaches just below my shoulder blades. It took half a bottle of spray for the entire length after three uses. I don't recommend applying it to the ends. For those who claim that the spray turns their hair yellow and give it a bad rating, it's better for them to stay away from coloring products on their own because they don't understand how lightening works and that hair has its own yellow pigment that needs toning. I highly recommend the spray for uncolored hair. I deduct one star because the sprayer sometimes leaks and occasionally sprays with larger droplets instead of a mist.
After using it four times, it did lighten my hair, although maybe just a little bit, about one shade. It does tend to damage my hair, but with the help of hair masks, I can tolerate it.
Significantly lightens with a wheat-like hue.
I really liked this product! The effect was noticeable after the first application.
Wasted money, it doesn't work at all ((((
This product is magical! It is a concentrated hair lightener that worked wonders on my child's strands, giving them a natural look. It doesn't dry out the hair and has a pleasant scent. Even though my child is allergic to many things, this product did not cause any allergic reactions.
This product didn't work for me. I have naturally blonde hair, but it didn't lighten it. I applied it without rinsing. Another significant downside, in my opinion, is the strong smell of chlorine, which is so harsh that it even irritates my eyes.
This product is a great alternative to the L'Oreal spray.
I really liked the spray, so I bought two right away. The results after the first use were impressive.
This spray is really good as it effectively lightens the hair and noticeable results can be seen after just 2-3 applications. One downside is that it can dry out the hair, but once you stop using it, the dryness goes away.
Great find. It immediately brightened my hair, just as I wanted, although it does appear slightly burnt. The smell is okay, but I think it's better not to inhale too much, considering it's hydrogen peroxide. It does dry out the hair a bit, but that's expected after bleaching. The two-phase and oil help solve this problem. Some people mentioned that the color turns reddish, but that's normal with any bleaching. If you want a cool tone, you should use toner or a purple balm.
This product has been my savior during breaks between dyeing my hair (to prevent noticeable color differences between the roots and the lengths). If I don't tone my hair, the brown strands tend to appear yellowish-orange, just like with any other lightening product. The effect of smoothing and evening out the hair color lasts until the next wash.
It yellows horribly. Naturally light-brown hair. I applied it for 7 consecutive days - it kept getting yellower and yellower with no hints of noble blonde.
The product is excellent, but I want to specifically thank you for the delivery. You guys are awesome!
This product is a bit odd, but the most important thing is that it really lightens the hair. It does dry out the hair a lot, but in the case of my oily roots, it's actually helpful - I don't have to wash my hair every day. I don't apply it to the ends, as it completely dries them out. I have medium blonde hair and it lightened slightly even after the first use. Also, the spray has a terrible smell)) but since the disappearance of L'Oreal SunKiss, this is the best option for light and natural lightening.
A gradual lightening product. After six months, I became a blonde. My color is silver-brown. The formula contains keratin, which has made my hair structure denser. My hairdresser approves of this product.
I ordered this spray from Makeup. I am satisfied with the results after using it twice! Prior to this, my hair was dyed and I had highlights done. The roots were dark about a couple of centimeters and then there was a reddish shade. The spray lightened the roots and toned down the reddish shade. I applied it to my hair, dried it with a hairdryer, and it looked beautiful! The scent fades quickly.
I am the owner of naturally light-reddish hair. This spray significantly lightened my hair in just three uses, without acquiring any reddish tint. Instead, it achieved the expected classic yellowish shade, as if my hair had truly been sun-bleached. That's exactly what I wanted. Yes, the spray dries out the hair, but personally, mine tends to be greasy, so there were no negative consequences for me. Many thanks to MakeUp for delivering the product the next day after ordering, for their courteous couriers, and for providing the opportunity to use good products!
Not suitable for brunettes - it highlights in a horrendous red tone, you will still need to dye your hair anyway!
Hair lightening spray, but with a reddish tint. I do not recommend using this spray for those with ash-colored hair.
I prefer Sunkiss, but unfortunately, it's not available anywhere. This spray has a stronger odor, for sure. I have more questions about the delivery. It's disappointing that the only option for this spray is shipping from Warsaw. Waiting 9 days for the package is definitely long. I'll have to look for a replacement for this spray.
It really lightens and looks natural. However, the smell is terrible. It also dries out the hair, especially my porous ones.
