Jacques Bogart Silver Scent Pure Eau de Toilette boasts a masculine fragrance with fougère and citrus accords. Released in 2015, it is a flanker of the popular Silver Scent perfume. In this new version, the fragrance has become fresher and brighter, offering a light and unobtrusive presence. The simplicity of its composition is where its perfection lies. From the very first notes, a spicy freshness is evident, gradually giving way to a honeyed floral tang and sweet accords. As the fragrance unfolds, it becomes softer, exuding a velvety elegance.
Top notes feature fresh bergamot, sparkling grapefruit, cool mint, and sweet Granny Smith apples.
Heart notes combine the gentle citrus of orange blossom, spicy cardamom, herbal lavender, and the subtly metallic touch of nutmeg.
Base notes resonate with the cozy warmth of guaiac wood, creamy seductive musk, earthy patchouli, and teak wood.
This Jacques Bogart fragrance is an amber-woody scent for men, embodying strength and charm. It has a surprising yet delightful hookah-like aroma. The fragrance is both sweet and long-lasting, offering several hours of enjoyment. For its price, it's an absolute standout—bold and powerful!
This fragrance was a surprise for me, as it consistently earns compliments and leaves me amazed. It has a strong citrus-mint projection that is quite captivating. I have a large collection, including Elysium Pour Homme Parfum Cologne by Roja Dove, Hacivat by Nishane, Black Orchid by Tom Ford, among others. Yet, Silver Scent Pure stands out and receives the most compliments from women, making it the best in my collection. People absolutely love it; it's remarkable and long-lasting. While its longevity isn't the strongest in its line, for a summer fragrance, lasting 6-8 hours is quite impressive.
If you enjoy fresh citrus scents, feel free to buy this one blindly. I don't mind if it seems a bit synthetic; honestly, most people don't care if it's natural or synthetic—they just want it to smell amazing.
I also own Silver Scent Midnight, which is alluring and clean. In my opinion, I personally prefer Silver Scent Deep, but because of the compliments from women, this one takes the crown!
This is truly one of the purest fragrances in the luxury market. It opens with a white grapevine note and then transitions through a citrusy heart to a warm woody base with hints of nutmeg. It's perfect for summer evenings as well as warm autumn and spring days. The sillage and longevity are impressive, lasting 9-10 hours, as expected from a French manufacturer. While the fragrance itself feels somewhat reminiscent of Paco Rabanne Invictus and Dior Homme 2020, it is at least twice as affordable.
