At first, I didn't quite understand this shampoo. I used it on my hair that I dyed 1.5 months ago. Later, when I dyed my hair again and started maintaining the color, it worked wonderfully. It does make my already oily scalp even oilier, but if I alternate it as recommended, I didn't notice any major issues, perhaps because I wash my hair every day. I had to adjust a bit since I have fine hair, so I don't apply anything else after using the shampoo to avoid weighing it down. Once a week, I use a mask from the same line. The results are noticeable—my hair maintains a chocolate hue, whereas before, it would turn coppery within a week.
I asked the brand consultant if this product was suitable for level 6 hair and was told "yes," but in reality, it doesn't remove the orange undertone (even a week after coloring to a cool shade). You also need to alternate it with a regular shampoo because it makes the roots greasy, and it doesn't give a sense of cleanliness. Essentially, you need two shampoos. People only use it because it's for colored hair. I won't buy it again.

This toning shampoo is excellent. I can leave it on for up to 10 minutes to achieve a cooler tone compared to other shampoos. It minimally dries out my hair, especially when used with the conditioner from the same brand. I am satisfied.

That means, I first use conditioner (also from Matrix, the volume series) on wet hair, and then apply the shampoo. This same principle also works when toning lightened hair, so I recommend trying this method for better toning effects and removing unwanted shades.
This is an excellent shampoo. I have roots with a tone of 8.1 and lengths with a tone of 9-10. My roots often wash out to a copper undertone, while the lightened lengths turn yellow. This shampoo effectively removes both the copper and yellow tones. It leaves my hair with a cool tone, without any unnecessary violet hues. I feel like this shampoo has a cumulative effect because the longer I use it, the more noticeable the results become. Another great thing about it is that it doesn't dry out my hair like other mass-market toning shampoos do. I will definitely purchase it again, as well as other Matrix products and shampoos.

This shampoo is the worst, it doesn't tone anything, and it leaves the hair feeling like straw. Additionally, it stains the hands and leaves a blue residue in the bathtub.
I transitioned from black to blonde with the help of this palette, and the intermediate stage was auburn. What I want to say is that the copper hair dye washes out well even after the first wash. I use it in conjunction with a blue mask (conditioner). I leave the shampoo on for 10 minutes first, then the mask for another 10 minutes. However, be careful as the bathtub and your hands might turn blue.
I bought the shampoo and mask. The packaging indicates that this series is for dark blonde and brunette shades. Since I have a dark blonde with a hint of red, I thought it would be a perfect fit.
