The product emphasizes pores.
I used to use this product a long time ago and was initially satisfied with it. However, I started noticing that it was clogging my pores and causing breakouts, though I didn't take it seriously at first. Now, a year into acne treatment with a dermatologist, I've decided to leave a review. I always chose the lightest shade, which suited me well until I realized that it oxidizes throughout the day, making my fair skin look like it has an orange mask. The coverage is quite heavy, almost too much, and after a couple of hours, it starts feeling greasy unless I have blotting papers or powder on hand. For the price, there are better options available. Overall, there’s not much good to say about it. Is it worth it? I don't think so.
The foundation is fantastic, especially for oily skin. I use full-coverage foundations due to my problem skin, and this one covers all redness and looks great throughout the day. It offers a wide range of shades, and I finally found my perfect match (my skin is very fair). It's easy to apply, so I'm not sure why some women said the application was terrible. Ladies, not all foundations are thick and greasy, so negative reviews might not be entirely accurate.
Why is it so runny? It's just like water... I don't recommend it.
I purchased this product elsewhere, but I want to leave a review here. It's a nightmare. It dries out the skin, highlights every flaw and more, and clogs pores—even though I use good cleansers and a facial sponge. It caused my cheeks to break out with acne, and not just a few...
After reading so many positive reviews, I decided to try this product (I didn't purchase it from Makeup). I have never encountered a worse foundation in my life! It highlights every skin flaw, even those you weren't aware of. It accentuates all blemishes, redness, and wrinkles! It dries out the skin a lot and looks like plaster! It's impossible to apply it well, regardless of whether you use your fingers, a brush, or a sponge. It has a mind of its own! It's not worth the money, not a single penny!
Super Stay by Maybelline is perfect for those who love long-lasting makeup with full coverage. It truly delivers for its price. Its coverage can compete with many well-known professional brands. The key is in the proper application of the foundation using a brush or sponge on well-prepared skin (moisturize and apply a makeup primer right before the foundation).
This is a great foundation—long-lasting and not sticky, with a natural finish. I finally found a shade in this line that matches my fair skin perfectly. The only downside is that the pump tends to clog because the cream thickens over time. I apply it on moisturized skin, which helps it go on smoothly and prevents it from drying out my skin.
The foundation is not bad. I chose the lightest shade, but it turned out to be a bit darker than the ones I usually use. It's fine for summer after getting a tan. It offers medium coverage and durability.
The foundation is excellent. When applied correctly, it gives great results. If you use a beauty blender on well-exfoliated and moisturized skin, you'll have no issues. Thank you, Makeup, for the affordable prices and prompt delivery.
Here's a coherent English translation of the product review:
"The coverage is heavy, making it unsuitable for daily use. It highlights any dry patches, even if you moisturize beforehand, and tends to cake around the nose area. The overall look is unnatural, and it requires a lot of effort to apply properly. I wouldn't recommend purchasing it."
This product is a total nightmare. I chose the shade 06 light beige, and it turned out to be way too yellow. It highlights every flaw and even started to irritate my skin. I will never buy it again.
This foundation is truly dense and can cover bruises, acne, and blemishes. However, be prepared to apply it skillfully, as it doesn't work well with sweat and requires thorough blending. It is quite dry and can highlight imperfections and flakiness. It's important to realize that it's not suitable for everyday use. It's opaque, but there are situations where such coverage is necessary, like when your face is having a major breakout that BB creams can't handle. It's also great for photo shoots.
This is my absolute favorite for important events. It covers everything flawlessly and is long-lasting and easy to apply. I've already ordered my third bottle, and now there's a new updated version available. I've ordered that one too, but I still like the old version. It's better suited for oily and combination skin because it can dry out the skin even more. Initially, it might apply unevenly and highlight minor flakiness, but after about half an hour, it blends beautifully.
This foundation is terrible. Even if you have baby-soft skin, it will transform you into someone with aged, wrinkled skin. It highlights every wrinkle, pore, and fine hair on your face. The application is awful; it's not flexible at all, and it's nearly impossible to spread evenly. Over time, it turns into a greasy mess on your face. I've tried it with various skincare routines, but the result is always the same. I do not recommend purchasing this product.
I ordered this product for the first and last time. I have oily skin with some post-acne marks. I don't have any issues with its coverage; it's quite thick and conceals imperfections well. Before applying makeup, I thoroughly prepare my skin, using moisturizing products followed by a mattifying primer. However, none of this prevents my face from turning into a greasy shine just a few hours later. It's so bad that I'm afraid to go out in the sun, worried I might blind people with the glare. The foundation oxidizes at least one shade darker, making me feel like I've spent too long in a tanning booth. It slides off the skin, and not even setting powder can save it; in some areas, it disappears completely. It's not suitable for daily use as it clogs everything possible and isn't good for evening makeup either, as it doesn't last long. Removing it is a nightmare. It seems like the foundation comes to life when it touches water. Even using micellar water, cleansing oil, and then a foam cleanser doesn't ensure it comes off completely. I don't recommend this for anyone with problematic skin; it's definitely not the right product for us.
The product provides excellent coverage and does not create any shine.
This is a very good and full-coverage foundation. I highly recommend it!
The shade 6 is too yellow, and it clumps when used with Maybelline Fit Me powder. It would be better to spend the same amount on a BB cream from Lumene or a foundation from L'Oréal.
This foundation is almost the only one that matches my skin tone perfectly, making it ideal for those with very fair skin. However, it is not suitable for oily skin. Within an hour, it clogs pores and makes the skin appear shiny and greasy, leaving you wanting to remove it immediately. Although it covers imperfections well, this effect only lasts for a few hours before the skin becomes so oily that touching paper after touching your face leaves grease marks. The only advantage is that it applies easily and offers a wide range of shades.
Great product, applies well. It can be a bit drying in some areas, but that's the case for me with all foundations. It covers red blemishes effectively. However, after 3-4 hours, my forehead and cheeks start to look shiny.
This is a great foundation, and shade 06 is a perfect match for me! A big thank you for the fast delivery!
This foundation is very good, one of the best at this price point. I also want to highlight the excellent quality of the delivery service (ordered to Kropyvnytskyi).
The texture of the cream is decent but a bit thick, making it difficult to apply. It dries out my skin and highlights any flakiness. I had to mix it with a lighter cream for better application and to achieve a lighter shade than needed. Overall, it's okay, but I'm not sure if I would order it again.
I used to think that the most long-lasting foundation for me was the Missha Perfect Cover. However, after purchasing the Maybelline Super Stay 24h, my perspective completely changed!
Here's a bit about my skin: I'm over 40, with pale skin that has a yellowish undertone. I have fine lines under my eyes and combination skin that leans towards oily, with enlarged pores and occasional breakouts.
I bought this foundation on sale out of curiosity. Shade #06 Light Beige blended perfectly with my skin, without any pink undertones. Before applying makeup, I always prep my skin with a moisturizer and primer, and then apply foundation.
You need to apply this foundation very quickly and in very small dots all over your face, avoiding the under-eye area. Then, blend these dots thoroughly with a kabuki brush until they're seamless. Remember: do not layer this foundation. It sets incredibly fast and dries instantly. The thinner the layer you can apply, the more invisible it will be on the skin, while still providing excellent coverage of imperfections. The finish is stunning—velvety and flawless. It lasts perfectly all day without fading. I never set this foundation with powder, as it immediately ruins the look, making pores visible and the skin appear unkempt and wrinkled. So it's best to avoid powder altogether. If you're using a less long-lasting concealer, you can carefully set that area with a light dusting of powder.
This is truly the most long-lasting foundation I've ever used. However, it's essential to thoroughly hydrate your skin before applying, even if you have oily skin.
I highly recommend purchasing this product! But it does require a bit of practice to get used to.
This foundation is terrible, if you can even call it that. I bought the shade natural beige, and it clumps and highlights dry patches that aren't even there! I'm very disappointed with this purchase; it just needs to be thrown away. Once again, I've confirmed that there’s nothing better for me than Seventeen.
I didn't buy it here, but I wanted to leave my review. The foundation is terrible! The ivory shade is too orange, and it’s impossible to apply evenly with either hands or a sponge. It oxidizes and becomes patchy, so it’s unclear what purpose it serves.
Here's a tip: The only way to make it work is to mix it 1:1 with the Korean Enough Collagen Moisture Foundation. This makes it possible to apply evenly and look somewhat decent. There’s no other way to use it effectively.
I have the product in shade 03, which is very light. I can't say it adapts to my skin tone; instead, it provides a dense, uniform coverage. It feels like I've applied whitewash on my skin. It highlights flakiness and wrinkles, clumps up, and settles into lines. The finish looks unnatural, like a porcelain mask, and it transfers onto clothing. I didn't find any positives, except that it lasts quite a while and is inexpensive. However, for a product like this, I don't see any advantages, even though I generally like this brand's cosmetics (especially their pencils, lipsticks, and eyeshadows). It would be better to choose Bourjois or Lumene, which also offer skincare benefits.
Here's the translated and polished version of the product review:
"This foundation is excellent. It provides great, long-lasting coverage. It holds up quite well on oily skin."
The foundation was a complete disappointment! It's thick and applies poorly. It feels like a mask on the face, with no sense of freshness or lightness. I won't be ordering it again.
A very good foundation.
I really liked this foundation. I have combination skin, and when I apply it with a brush on prepped, moisturized skin, it goes on smoothly. It covers all imperfections, and after about half an hour, it adjusts to my skin so well that my face looks flawless. Yes, you can tell I'm wearing foundation, but that's expected since it's not a BB cream or a fluid; it's a long-lasting foundation! It's supposed to be visible, otherwise, why buy such a product? It stays put and doesn’t melt in the heat. You need to get used to how it works with your skin type and find the best application method. However, I don't recommend using a primer with it, as it won't adhere well and might slide off. It sets beautifully on its own without a base.
I don't recommend it. It applies poorly on the skin, rolls off, and creates a mask-like effect. I used it twice after purchasing and then threw it away.
I have oily skin, and every time I buy a new foundation, I hope it will suit me. Unfortunately, this foundation was a huge disappointment. It clogs my pores, leaves marks, and starts to cake after a few hours. I gave it several tries because it does a great job at mattifying the skin. I also had issues with application, but I'm not very skilled in that area. The foundation is very thick and needs to be applied in a thin layer; otherwise, it creates a mask-like effect.
The product didn't meet my expectations. It leaves marks on clothing. I bought it specifically to wear under a protective mask during quarantine, but it left a lot of residue on the white mask. It applies poorly and quickly becomes clay-like. I could only apply it after mixing it with a moisturizer. It doesn't last long!
A decent foundation for normal skin. Not suitable for dry skin. The shade 06 is perfect for light skin.
I purchased this product elsewhere, but I want to leave a review. I chose shade 03, which suited my very fair skin well. It has a matte finish with coverage between medium and full, and it doesn't cake. Powder products apply and blend smoothly over it. I am satisfied.
I ordered this product based on my friends' recommendations, but it didn't work for me. It dries out my skin a lot, even though I prepared my skin for makeup beforehand. I'm very disappointed.
This is a good foundation with full coverage, but it might not be suitable for everyone. When applied to well-moisturized skin, it looks great. It's particularly suitable for combination and oily skin types without any flakiness. Just a small drop is enough for the entire face. If you're choosing a shade for everyday use, consider whether you really need such full coverage.
I've been using it for a long time, and it works great for my skin.
It lasts all day! This is really important and it covers almost everything completely.
For Very Oily Facial Skin
Leaves a Yellow Tint
I absolutely love it—number 10 is my favorite!
Great product, I've been using it for 2 years.
I'm very satisfied with this product. It provides excellent coverage, is long-lasting, and looks natural on my face.
The product provides good coverage but emphasizes dryness and flakiness quite a bit. To get the best results, it's important to use either a rich base or a good moisturizer, ideally both, to help it apply smoothly. Overall, it's a very good product. Although it has a thick consistency, it doesn't create a mask-like effect on the face. It's particularly suitable for fair skin.
This is the best foundation I've ever used! I've been using shade 7 every day for the past two years.
There's nothing better; I've tried many, but I keep coming back to this one.
This is the best foundation I've ever used; the quality matches the price. It's thick, doesn't cake, doesn't shine, and doesn't turn orange!
I was looking for a full-coverage foundation for my problematic skin, and I found it. The texture is quite dense and does a great job of covering imperfections. However, it doesn't have the long-lasting wear as promised (which is why I deducted a star); after about four hours, it starts to look shiny. I chose shade 10 (matte beige).
The product is even lighter than my skin tone!
The product dries out my skin, but I mix it with another product and it's okay, as long as I use only a little. If I apply too much, you can really see how drying it is ☹️. I'm also not satisfied with the foundation and concealer. The shade (3 Natural Beige) is way too pale.
I used to use Fit Me, but it started drying out my skin (which is combination type). On a friend's recommendation, I decided to try this one instead. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good choice. The foundation is very noticeable on the face and clogs pores. It might be perfect for people with normal skin without enlarged pores, but it's definitely not suitable for combination skin.
Conclusion: I'll buy a good moisturizing cream and go back to using Fit Me.
I didn't order it from here. For my fair skin, I chose the light beige shade, which in my opinion, has a pink undertone. The jar says it's suitable for all skin types, but I disagree. This foundation is more suited for oily and normal skin, or for use in the summer! I have dry skin, and it highlighted everything, every imperfection! It has a high coverage that conceals all flaws. However, after some time, it clogs pores and starts to cake, making the skin look grainy. But! We are all different, and everyone needs to try it on their own skin, unfortunately. Many people find it suitable, but I'm still looking for the right one.
I bought the natural beige shade (03) for fair skin, and it matched perfectly. It needs to be applied in thin layers, allowing you to control the coverage. Initially, it took some practice to apply it properly. It covers any redness and under-eye circles excellently, doesn't shine, and provides a good matte finish. Even in the rain, it doesn't run. It feels weightless on the skin and hardly transfers onto surfaces. I remove it with micellar water designed for long-lasting makeup. A huge advantage of this perfect cream is that it is non-comedogenic, meaning it doesn't clog pores or cause new breakouts.
Apply it to very well-moisturized skin. I chose shade 03, but it turned out to be a bit lighter than expected.
Great foundation. I'm currently mixing shades 6 and 7. The staying power, color, and texture are outstanding. However, without moisturizing before application, my skin felt dry, even though my T-zone is oily.
After the first use, it felt a bit unfamiliar, but once I got the hang of it, I couldn't do without it. However, the price is a bit high, so for now, I'm using a more affordable option.
This is a great foundation. It reminds me more of a concealer because it has excellent coverage properties. The coverage is more medium. It has no scent and feels light on the skin. It's best applied with a damp sponge, as spreading it with fingers is nearly impossible. I have very fair skin, and when I tested shades 06 and 07 in the store, both turned out too yellow (07 was a bit too dark, and 06 left a yellow patch). So, I decided to go with the lightest shade - 03. Unfortunately, it turned out to be too white, but I think it will be suitable for winter (I'll mix it with another foundation that matches my skin tone better). The finish is matte, as described. Overall, I’m pleased with it and will continue using it. I recommend it and also thank the makeup store for the prompt delivery!
I have oily and sometimes problematic skin. This foundation is excellent. Initially, it takes a little practice to apply it properly. However, don't worry, you won't have to jump through hoops to achieve good coverage. Speaking of which, the coverage ranges from medium to full, effectively concealing imperfections and evening out the skin tone. I might need to touch up with powder once or twice over a 6-8 hour period.
