Elizabeth Arden 5TH Avenue NYC Uptown Eau de Parfum

I always have the classic 5th Avenue. I got this one out of curiosity based on reviews. It wasn't love at first spray: initially, you can really sense the oriental, sweet notes. However, after about 20 minutes, the scent changed, becoming fresher and lasted on me all day. Yes, it's multifaceted and interesting, and most importantly, unlike anything else. I'll use it as an evening fragrance because it's richer and more intense than, for example, J'adore.

I received this fragrance as a gift from my husband. It suits my cool skin perfectly. It lasts up to five hours on the skin and two days on clothes. For winter or cold weather, it's a real find. After applying it, I can't smell it on myself after fifteen minutes, but others compliment me on the scent trail that extends several meters. (My husband didn't know there are many versions of 5th Avenue, and he chose blindly, but he hit the mark perfectly.) In my opinion, this fragrance is unbeatable!

The fragrance turned out to be even better than I expected. To give you an idea of what it resembles, I once had a scent called Melody from Faberlic, and they are somewhat similar. However, Uptown is more refined. The blend and components are of higher quality. The longevity is about six out of ten, but I forgive it because I'm simply in love with it. It took quite a while to arrive from the EU. Unfortunately, the package couldn't be tracked anywhere. I spent the money I had set aside twice. But the fragrance was worth it! It's divine! I like the classic version of 5th Avenue, so I was curious to try some other versions. I was torn between two options (since they had tempting discounts) and chose this one based on reviews. It's not bad, but it has nothing in common with the regular version. I'm not sure if I would buy it again (unlike the classic). The lasting power seems alright. It somewhat reminds me of men's cologne, especially in the initial moments.

Definitely perfect for spring and summer. It has a floral and fresh scent with a hint of pink pepper for a touch of spiciness. The petitgrain adds a refreshing note to it. It is long-lasting, as I could still smell it on myself until the evening. Overall, it is a very pleasant fragrance.

I bought it not from my favorite makeup store (it wasn't available there). The perfume is good, although I don't personally smell it (which means it suits me). However, people around me can smell it. I really like it, it's delicate and floral.
