Preparation:
- For pastel shades hair will need to be very light blonde so pre-lighten if this isn’t your natural colour.
- Always perform an Allergy Alert Test 48 hours before each time you colour, even if you’ve used the product before.
- Use a clarifying/deep cleanse shampoo 48 hours prior to application.
- Check the application range to ensure your natural hair is suitable for your chosen shade.
- If your hair is longer than chin length or thick, we recommend using two packs.
- If you’re unsure about your chosen shade carry out a strand test.Application and Development:
1. Towel dry hair well and evenly before applying.
2. Avoid staining your favourite jumper by having an old towel at the ready.
3. If you are only colouring parts of your hair, please take care when applying to avoid staining other areas.
4. Use skin barrier cream around your hairline and ears to ensure your hair is the only thing being covered!
5. No need to mix the colour, apply straight from the tube or mix a pea-sized amount of colour with conditioner to create your own unique shade!
6. Rinse the colour out using lukewarm water
Terrible hair color! It faded immediately after the first hair wash. I spent so much money and got nothing in return. I do not recommend it to anyone.
Hello, I bought this paint a week ago and decided to use it the day before yesterday. Everything was great, I really liked the color and have no complaints. However, just now I finished taking a shower and it's as if the paint wasn't even there... I am really disappointed. Thank you, but I won't be buying it again!
The paint chipped off somewhere around 3 weeks.
I dyed my hair with the color 095 - Electric Blue, which was previously a faded red color with medium brown roots. The blue color turned out well on my light brown hair, just like it looked on the packaging. However, on my previously dyed red hair, it turned out to be a dark violet color. The color did not distribute evenly on the dyed hair. Overall, it turned out interesting, like a metallic effect transitioning from blue to violet. The dye does not leave any traces and washes off well from the skin. The color fades gradually over time. I am satisfied with the results and will definitely purchase it again.
I love the Schwarzkopf range of Ultra Brights. I often use them to ombre the bottom of my hair. This turquoise one is amazing. I fell in love with it. Not literally. Lol. It was very eye-catching. I normally leave it on the ends of my hair for an hour, so that it soaks in better. It isn't runny. It's easier to control how much comes out of the tube.
I have naturally brunette hair, and I wanted a bright pink on the tips of my hair. Had to lighten the ends of hair first. Isn't runny. Applies very well. Doesn't drip everywhere. It's more like a paste, as it's easier to control the amount that you squeeze out, compared to the permanent dyes which are quite runny. Just one or two suggestions, the gloves that come with the dye could be thicker, as they tear to easily, and they rustle to much, which is annoying. Plus, I think we should get a bigger amount of hair dye in the box, as the dye is more expensive these days, so we should get value for money. Other than that, it's a pretty good dye :)
This is really good, but I suggest lightening your hair first, before applying this, otherwise you'll only get a very subtle hue. If you're only after a hardly noticeable shade, then you won't have ti bother with lightening your hair before you use this. It depends on how bright you want it to show on your hair. This blue is gorgeous. I have brunette hair, and I used this to put blue on the ends of my hair. The end result was beautiful. Everyone kept touching my hair. People kept admiring it :)
We tried to dye our hair a medium brown color, but ended up with a very weak shade. This is a toning mask, not a dye. I do not recommend it.
This is not just regular hair dye, it is a toner. We bought the shade 098 stell silver, but it did not cover the yellow tones at all. It was disappointing. On well-lightened hair, it gave a gray with a pearlescent shade.
