Shower Gel "Coconut" - Dove Nourishing Secrets Restoring Shower Gel
This product is really cool. My daughter and I absolutely love it. The scent is delicate and pleasant. However, what we liked the most was its consistency - it's so creamy and enjoyable.
This cream has a repulsive smell, reminiscent of cheap cream, rotten coconut, and rubber. The gel itself also looks disgusting, with a sickly light brown color. It's just revolting.
There is no pronounced coconut scent, but it smells delicately and pleasantly. It does not dry out the skin.
I bought this gel for the first time because I really love the smell of coconut. Initially, I was very disappointed because it doesn't smell like coconut at all in the bottle, no matter what. It smells like some kind of cream, unpleasantly. However, when used, it slightly reveals a barely noticeable coconut scent, but mostly cream. I won't deduct a star because fragrance is very subjective, and the consistency of the gel itself is wonderful and very pleasant. But it's not coconut.
I really love both the fragrance and how my body smells and feels after using it. I have been using it for a long time, and on top of that, I apply the coconut lotion after showering.
I have a pure coconut one, I didn't buy it here. It has a thick texture and it cleanses and rinses off VERY well, maybe even too well for me, so I will alternate it with something else. It's not overly sweet, and after a shower, there is just a faint pleasant scent of soap and cleanliness on my body, which quickly disappears, especially since I always use body lotion. I don't regret buying it.

After sniffing it from the bottle, the coconut scent was very delicious. However, when applied to the body, the smell changes to a chemical-like odor of old rubber, which is repulsive and off-putting. It doesn't last long on the skin, which in this case is actually a positive aspect. I do not recommend it!
The price does not match the quality. I like the smell of coconut but not this overly sweet candy-like scent. Among the Dove series, this shower gel is not the best option.
I couldn't wait for this gel to finish. The smell is too harsh and overly sweet, overpowering the coconut scent. I usually use unscented Dove moisturizer, which has a pleasant, light, and unobtrusive cream smell. I noticed that both products leave my body feeling not completely clean, like there's still soap residue after rinsing them off. It makes me want to keep rinsing my body with running water over and over again.
Pleasant scent, although not very long-lasting in my opinion. The skin feels smooth after showering. I liked it.
Today I received my order. I have purchased this gel before and it used to have a pleasant coconut scent, but now it doesn't have any coconut smell at all! Instead, there is an unpleasant floral aroma.
I always buy it for winter. It's just what dry skin needs.

The gels from this line are really good. They are thick, lather well, and the scent is simply amazing. A nice bonus is that the gel scent lingers on the body for quite a while after washing (I bought it in the evening, and the scent is still there until noon the next day). I highly recommend it!

This is probably the best fragrance out of all shower gels. I simply fell in love with the scent of sweet coconut.
I absolutely love this line of gels. They have a rich and pleasant scent, a thick and foamy texture, which means they are very economical (personally, a bottle lasts me for 3 months). Although this particular fragrance is not really to my liking.
