Lip Balm - Artdeco Color Booster Lip Balm
This product is really cool, lightweight, and the tint enhances your natural lip color. The shade is a neutral pink. It doesn't dry out the lips, but it also doesn't moisturize them. It stays in place and doesn't bleed. Comparing it to Nivea is strange because Nivea is like petroleum jelly and very noticeable on the lips, plus the color is completely different.
I ordered it in the nude color, which looks really nice. However, the balm doesn't moisturize my lips much.
Budget replacement for Dior balm and a more convenient alternative to Sisters Aroma jar. It shows up on the lips as a Barbie-pink shade, which I find pleasant and not too bright. Yes, it does dry out the lips, but so do the two previous products I've tried, so I use all three as a decorative item rather than for care - I still need a regular balm on top. This is my impression - for 350 UAH, it's a great product. And now my mother's impression - it doesn't dry her lips and she likes everything about it. She says it's the best product she has ever used and she has finished one in half a year, now she's asking me to buy her the next one. In conclusion, if you have the money, go for Dior. If you have around 400 UAH, it's better to buy this one instead of the embarrassing Sisters Aroma.
This product is extremely drying on the lips.
The stylish silver metal case is secure and scratch-resistant, ensuring that it won't accidentally open or get damaged in your bag. The beautiful Nude color complements brown tones in makeup. It delicately moisturizes the lips while providing good tint (I found it enjoyable to apply when I know I'll be eating or drinking, as it doesn't leave pale lips or color on the rim of glasses).
However, it does require moisturizing the lips beforehand, as it functions more like a balm than a lipstick. I've read comments comparing it to Dior, but personally, I don't find it to be the same. Artdeko noticeably dries out the lips.
This is a great tinted balm. It's nice that even when the gloss fades, the color still remains on the lips, although it's not super long-lasting.
I have used the shades Pink and Nude. Pink gives a pink-raspberry tint to the lips, but not too bright. Nude makes my lips almost their natural color, just better. So they are still pink, but in a muted natural shade, not something light and pink like boosting pink.
It looks nice, but that's where all the positives end! It dries out my lips to the point of cracking, even after just one use! I bought two different shades at once, but it's impossible to use them.
I wanted to find some variety for my favorite Nivea lip balm, but instead I got almost the same thing, just for more money. It seems like this is just an individual problem with my natural skin color.
The texture of Artdeco is denser, it has a taste and scent of lipstick, gives better volume, and on the lips it looks like gloss, while Nivea is simply about moisturizing and a light shade. They seem different (Artdeco is "warmer"), but they look the same in the mirror. I don't want to give a bad rating because it is definitely a good, very lightweight lipstick, there are just cheaper alternatives available.
I am impressed with the quality, and I really liked it as it adds a subtle color and moisturizes. The appearance of my lips after using it is very nice and natural (I have the nude shade).
It's unclear why there is no description, so people are disappointed. This is a tint. After applying it on the lips, the color appears and stays even if you rub off the balm. Some people specifically expect this effect. For example, I used the shade "rose" completely, it gave the effect of natural lips, a pretty bright red-pink. And now I bought "Rose", it's a gently cool pink. It stays on the lips for 3-4 hours. In terms of texture, it is lighter than lipstick, with a pleasant scent. It didn't dry out my lips, even when I applied it without gloss. For comparison, a tint balm from Mac was very drying on the lips (and the price is much higher). A life hack to achieve a glossy effect for the lips is to apply the tint on top of the colorless gloss from Eveline Gloss Magic Lip Lacquer (20).
I rarely leave reviews, but this lipstick is simply amazing! It feels like butter and is very pleasant on the lips. It's like a tinted balm - initially glossy, then it absorbs into the lips and becomes like regular lips with a hint of color.
Shine, superb. Moisturization and softening for the lips. Boosting pink.
I really liked it, I will order another shade. It moisturizes and gives a natural color. It doesn't cause any discomfort.
This balm is fantastic! I really loved it. It feels comfortable on the lips and has a delightful scent of chocolate and mint. I can feel the moisturizing effect, and the color is simply marvelous, although not exactly like in the photo. The balm enhances the natural color of my lips.
I ordered it for the second time. Initially, it was a bit expensive for me, as I mostly use richly pigmented lipsticks, so I was reluctant to spend money on this. Before this, I had already tried lip tints (they tend to settle in the creases of the lips and fade unevenly).
Based on the reviews, I ordered the pink shade. When I opened it, I was disappointed - the stick was almost transparent and very small. However, upon application, it felt very soft and pleasant, as if it was hydrating my lips. After about thirty seconds, the color starts to show (keep in mind your natural lip color). In my case, as I have almost colorless lips, they become a delicate shade of pinkish transparent. I really like this effect, and you can layer it for a brighter color. It moisturizes and nourishes well, looks natural, and the packaging has a luxurious minimalistic design (you won't feel embarrassed to take it out in public).
It's interesting how different the reviews are. Some people find it drying, while others find it moisturizing. Some think it gives a glossy finish, while others find it matte. Some find it a bright raspberry color, while others find it subtly enhances their natural color. It was also interesting to learn that the shade can change depending on the acidity level of the lips.
I purchased the Nude shade, which gives a glossy finish and has a pinkish-brown undertone. It starts off quite intense but gradually becomes a subtle pink shade, and the gloss remains. It is long-lasting and fades naturally, just becoming a paler pink. It moisturizes and I really liked it, so five stars. Plus, the packaging is really beautiful.
After some time, I bought the Red shade, which is more matte compared to Nude. It is a horrendous, nuclear raspberry color that I personally dislike. It feels dry on the lips, so I ended up throwing it away.
Just a great find! I have very little pigment on my lips. This lipstick in the shade boosting pink gives a pleasant natural pink hue to my lips and stays on for a very long time!
This is an incredible find, my new favorite lipstick. I absolutely loved it in the Nude shade. It applies smoothly and feels very moisturizing. It enhances the natural color of my lips. I will definitely be buying more.
I really liked this lipstick. It lasts a long time, especially if you only drink with it))) . It also doesn't smudge around the edges without using a lip liner.
I have the Nude shade and it perfectly matches its name. The lipstick enhances the natural color of my lips and looks very natural. It applies smoothly and has a pleasant scent. The packaging looks expensive.
Simply the best lip product! It feels pleasant on the lips and provides a nice color (I personally love how the boosting pink shade shows up). The shade stays on the lips for a long time without drying them out. I was choosing between a similar product from Givenchy and a more affordable one from Artdeco, and I am happy with my choice. I will definitely order it again.
I don't share the negative reviews, as I ordered two shades, NUDE and ROSE. They are soft, apply well, do not smear, and have pleasant shades. They give a slight tint. After using the ROSE shade, the natural color of my lips looks brighter, while I didn't notice a strong tint after using NUDE. They definitely provide moisturization. In my subjective opinion, they are worth their price and are a versatile product that provides good care and acts as a substitute for lip gloss.
I ordered the pink shade. It appears on the lips as a bright pink color, and that's exactly what I like about it. My lips become very vibrant and moisturized.
So that you understand, this is nude. Draw your own conclusions.
P.S. I would not recommend it.
I tried the Boosting Pink lip balm and it is excellent for several reasons. Firstly, it provides great hydration for the lips. Secondly, it gives a matte effect. In fact, I stopped using regular lipstick because of it. The color turns into a beautiful raspberry pink shade.
The product seemed beautiful in the picture, but my first impression was greatly spoiled upon opening it. The tube simply broke in my hands. I had to use a glue gun to somehow fix the packaging. The quality of the balm itself was disappointing. It moisturizes for the first 30 minutes, but then it dries out.
In my opinion, this balm is terrible. I bought the Boosting Pink shade. In the photo, it looked pale, just the way I wanted it or even completely transparent. However, after applying it, the balm changes the pigment and becomes a bright raspberry pink((( Additionally, it doesn't provide much moisture; it feels more like a film. It doesn't nourish my lips.
Overall, it's not bad, but I'm giving it 4 stars and here's why. I got the Booster Pink shade, which seems almost colorless, but it's not. If you have dry lips, it will pigment into a fairly bright color. But I recommend alternating it with the Bioderma lip balm stick. It moisturizes and takes care of the lips, completely eliminating dryness, and then the Ardeco balm applies properly. It ends up being a beautiful soft pink, just as advertised. My verdict is that as a lip balm, it definitely falls short.
I ordered the nude shade. It appears as a light brown on my lips. However, it doesn't provide any special moisture effect. Additionally, the tube is a bit loose, which is not a big issue, but it feels unusual.
I really liked this lip balm! It has a long-lasting effect, it's creamy and moisturizing, and it also gives my lips a beautiful natural shade.
My lips constantly get dry and cracked, whether it's winter or summer. I recently purchased this lip balm, and I must say, it's perfect for me. It moisturizes my lips well, doesn't leak or roll, and as for the color pigment, it slightly enhances the natural color of my lips, but this may vary for each person. Personally, it's a superb product! Rating: 5 stars.
The balm is pretty good. The color is a pleasant shade of pink, not too pigmented. However, it lacks nourishing properties, as after an hour, I feel the need to apply a hydrating lipstick. I am a fan of Artdeco and will continue using their products. But I must say, the results from Nivea lip glosses are just as good, if not better.
This time I ordered 3 pieces - for myself and my friends. We all really like them.
Regarding the bright pink color:
The shade is different on all three of us, apparently it depends on the shade of our lips. My friend, who has a fuchsia shade, simply applies the lipstick very lightly, waits for the shade to appear, and then applies lip balm on top. The shade is long-lasting and stays on even after eating.
When can I expect the delivery of this product?
I really liked it! I will order it again. It moisturizes and there are no unpleasant sensations on the lips. As for the "disgusting" color - I disagree ;)
The balm is good, it has a pleasant scent and a slight cooling effect, like mint on the lips. It is initially transparent pink, but after 10-15 minutes, it turns into a vibrant pink color, which I personally like. The balm's packaging has a stylish design and closes tightly.
The packaging is very attractive, and the balm itself has good moisturizing qualities. However, when applied on my lips, it appears as a cheap pink-fuchsia color. I plan to try it on a couple of friends to see if it suits them. I think it all depends on the pigmentation of the lips, making it difficult to guess just by looking at the delicate pink color of the stick.
This is an excellent lip balm that not only moisturizes but also gives the lips a natural and beautiful shade. It is just as good as the Dior lip balm, but it is significantly cheaper. I will definitely be buying more.
