I don't know what kind of connoisseur of dusty ancient scents you have to be to praise this masterpiece. It is extremely difficult to get rid of this stench. It's an unbelievable smell of old things that have been lying around in a spice cabinet, covered in dust and insects... And the most interesting part is that it lasts a long time. That's the only reason one could write a review, but it's unlikely that there is a unique person who would genuinely enjoy this trail.
The fragrance is very rich, dense, and captivating elixir, a masterpiece that has stood the test of time. I prefer it in the perfume version as the bottle is very convenient to carry with me at all times.
Many thanks to the company for the wonderful perfumes. I ordered them from Poland and they arrived beautifully packaged. I placed them in a dark place to let them settle. I am familiar with these perfumes and they are amazing. I previously had the eau de toilette version, but I believe the perfume will be even more luxurious!
The perfume is peculiar, suitable for those who appreciate Chanel No. 5. However, it has a deeper scent to me. It reminds me of a sophisticated woman sitting in a luxurious house on the Hollywood hills, wearing an Italian straw hat, and sipping coffee on her million-dollar veranda at the age of 75. In my opinion, it embodies the fragrance of a wealthy lady in her prime. The scent is multifaceted, evoking the aromas of an Eastern bazaar, spices, pastries, and dates. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it reminds me of the East.
Everything arrived, packaging is fine. Although it's hard to believe that I got the original for such a price:-)
After a couple of hours - I can smell the aroma of spicy Christmas cookies, especially in the room where the perfume was sprayed.
I received truly original perfumes. They are very, very beautiful. And the makeup, as always, deserves the highest praise. There is no doubt about their authenticity.
After some time of purchasing, I will write my perception of this perfume - it smells like raw soil, damp and cold. I mix it with a warm perfume, and it is much better perceived that way. However, overall, this perfume is for someone who really, really loves it.
For about five years, I hesitated to buy Shalimar. I kept imagining tires and railway sleepers. Then I shrugged it off and bought a TV. I thought to myself, I can handle the toilet fragrance. And now, I've even grown to love it.
And now it's time for Shalimar. A serious perfume, strict, even a bit dry. I'll save it for colder times - the perfume will rest while my summer mood fades away, and that's when we'll get acquainted.
Shalimar is not suitable for fans of light compositions.
I was expecting more. The lasting power is average.

Perfume Adoration. For fans of Chanel No. 5, aldehydes, and retro creations. At first, citrus notes with spices are perceived, very vibrant, patchouli and incense. The rest of the notes unfold gradually. Getting acquainted with these perfumes is not that simple, it takes time. They are very complex. The incredible sound, the shimmering notes, depth, and velvetiness are unparalleled and it is unlikely that anyone could create something today that could surpass the legendary Guerlain Shalimar! This perfume cannot be mistaken for any other, it is like the benchmark of luxury and good taste. Just as one should choose the right clothes to fit, only a woman or girl who can internally correspond to this genius composition can truly carry it. For the rest, it might just smell bad.

I received it on May 10th. My first encounter with Guerlain was 10 years ago. Since then, this fragrance has become my favorite. Its scent captivates me from the very first spray. I constantly find myself wanting to bring my wrist closer and inhale it.
Another variety of Shalimara has settled in my collection. It's very convenient to put such a bottle in my bag so that my beloved perfume accompanies me everywhere.
I bought a couple of bottles, the delivery from the EU was very fast, despite the worrisome situation worldwide. Thank you, MakeUP, for these unique opportunities.
Now, about the scent... We can talk endlessly about Guerlain's creations, and Shalimar in particular has been discussed a lot. But for me, this composition is reminiscent of childhood. The sweetness of styrax resin and the vanilla, slightly bitter flair cannot leave anyone indifferent. The dryness of vetiver with the predatory civet adds eroticism to the fragrance, and the depth of the patchouli is beautifully complemented by the warmth of bergamot in the sillage.
You can't confuse "Gerlinad" with any other aromatic mixes. It is a patented set of fragrant substances by the Guerlain family, a kind of DNA of Guerlain perfumes.
The longevity is stunning, and the sleek bottle is packaged in a quite presentable box. The spray perfectly disperses the fragrant elixir.
The delivery from Europe continues to impress, just like the product (its authenticity). But that's where all the pleasant experiences end...

Compared to TV Shalimar, this fragrance is more intense, vibrant, and incredibly beautiful. It lasts for a long time. There is no rubbery scent on my cold skin; instead, there is a light smokiness, spices, bright sweetness, and a floral background. The bottle comes with a sprayer and an airy cap, meaning it is fresh and unused. The box is branded and made of wood. The fragrance has excellent quality and longevity.
