I am always very picky when choosing perfumes. Before buying, I thoroughly study the scent, packaging, and bottle... everything that the original should look like.
Before this, I ordered perfumes mostly in the middle price range and mostly testers from MakeUp. Everything was great and without any questions.
But Montale turned out to be unexpected.
Here's the thing:
By all indications, the packaging and bottle completely match the original: the way the text is applied, where and how the letters are placed; the number on the box and bottle match; the clip is even, perfect; the sprayer is black; there is a special black rubber under the cap to prevent leakage, the bottom of the bottle is slightly concave.
There were a couple of moments that remained unclear... it seems like they could be true, but still confused me.
First: mica. Montale does not package their products in mica. There are rumors that they started doing it recently. Stores can also do it at their discretion. Personally, I only welcome packaging in mica. It provides some small guarantee of the product's integrity. Although I understand that it's more of a self-assurance))
Here, the box came wrapped in mica.
Second: barcode. The French representative of Montale does not print the barcode on the packaging. But here, the situation is the same as with mica. An additional barcode is attached to my box.
Another thing that confused me is that on the first day, I couldn't unscrew the bottle. Although it should open in the original.
But after some time, taking the risk of breaking the sprayer, I finally managed to open it)

Yes, it seems that floral scents from Montale are more long-lasting (I once tried to wash off a spritz of Wild Pears for a whole day... the longevity was bordering on fantasy... like "how to kill with a fragrance":)).

I won't order Montale here anymore. Everything seems to be visually the original, but the widespread complaints about longevity and lack of a long-lasting trail are really disappointing. And that's what I'm willing to pay for.
