I bought this perfume based on the reviews I read on the Makeup website and my previous experience with other Karl Lagerfeld fragrances. In my opinion, it is worse than a "triple cologne" or "Sasha," which were popular in the Soviet Union. I applied it once on my hand and it was enough to make me want to take multiple showers because the smell was overpowering. I would rate it a "0." Such scents have no place in the 21st century. I don't even know what to do with this whole 100ml bottle of disgust, and where to find someone I can give this fragrance to as a gift. Maybe it can be used as a repellent for mosquitoes and ticks in the forest... People, do not buy this perfume.
To understand what kind of perfume it is, it's quite strong and intense. It's a fragrance for men over 40, with a level of intensity similar to Mancera Cedrat Boise, but without the fruity notes at all. It has a powerful impact and smells really good. I would describe it as spicy, with hints of tobacco and pine, that's its base. There's a slight distant floral note, but it's mostly layered on a strong, woody-musky-amber background. This fragrance is not for those who prefer sweet scents. It's a complex and sophisticated smell. As for when and where to wear it, I'm not sure. Maybe let it age for about 10 years, like Cool Water or Polo Ralph Lauren did in their time. When I turn 45, maybe I'll come back to it.
The scent of a strong, mature man has a classy, noble woody undertone. It is long-lasting.
