The products in this line enhance the shine of your strands and give your locks the desired intensity of color. This product has been developed based on a patented universal formula with chamomile and citrus. The spray is intended for use during styling with heat tools. As a result of using this product, hair becomes lighter and more vibrant without losing its natural appearance.
The product contains heat-protective components. The patented technology includes fixative and special polymers that retain hydrogen peroxide, controlling the degree of hair lightening. Your locks will appear noticeably lighter after just 3-5 uses of this product.-
For the best hair lightening results, spray after applying the conditioner to towel-dried hair, then proceed with a regular styling. For optimal lightening, use a hair straightener or a curling iron after blow-drying. Use only once between washes. Spray on clean and wet hair only. Avoid more than 10 uses between colour treatments. Spray thoroughly, making sure that it is distributed along the entire hair length.

Did not like it! It turned my natural light brown hair into a rusty color. A year ago, I used Eugene Perma spray, and it lightened my hair beautifully to a soft, cool blonde without any brassiness. However, I can't find it anymore. My hair had grown out, and I wanted to lighten it a bit again, but this John Frieda product made it look rust-colored.
I really liked this spray. I've used it a couple of times since I recently bought it. It doesn't weigh down or make my hair sticky. It doesn't dry out my hair and it's easy to comb through. My hair is highlighted.
Interesting product. Gives immediate results on natural hair. It slightly dries out the hair, but with additional products, it's not a big issue. It has a citrus scent.
I really liked the spray, it actually brightens the hair. I have naturally light brown hair, so it suited me well. Of course, if your hair is darker, don't expect a wow effect right away. The spray has a cumulative effect. It's a great thing for those who want lightening without dyeing their hair.
This is a great product for natural blondes to add subtle highlights to their hair! I really liked it, as it provides gentle lighting without damaging the hair, and has a pleasant scent :) The result is smooth and gradual, so you won't instantly become light-haired, everything looks very natural! It gives my hair a beautiful warm color, without any yellow or reddish tones... I used it twice a week at first, then reduced it to once a week. My hair is not dried out, as I always moisturize it additionally and have good masks and care products. It's a wonderful alternative to dyeing! I definitely recommend it to natural blondes! 5 stars!!!
I have previously purchased this product in a different bottle with a black cap, and it was really effective. However, the one in the lemon bottle with a light cap seems to be just like water instead of a spray. It doesn't have any distinctive smell that is characteristic of a product containing peroxide. It's just like water, and the effectiveness is also non-existent.
Good product
I have been using this product for over a year now, so I can confidently recommend it. I naturally have light-brown hair, but I wanted the sun-kissed effect as if it were summer. I used it once a month to achieve a subtle transition. Since I have short hair, one application was enough for about 7 times. However, if you leave the solution on your hands for too long, you may notice white spots, similar to those caused by hydrogen peroxide. Overall, I am satisfied with this product as it does not dry out my scalp or hair. It provides a gentle lightening effect that is noticeable from the first use.
I did not like the spray! Firstly, I developed an allergy on my arm. Secondly, it has a very strong smell when you start to dry... It gives me a headache and makes me feel like I can't breathe properly! Overall, I didn't see any lightening effect! Also, it is not recommended to use it frequently because it dries out the hair horribly! I applied it only to the front strands near my face, not the entire head.
After using one bottle of this product, my hair became two shades lighter. I also noticed that my hair didn't appear drier after lightening it. I decided to buy two more bottles to maintain the root growth.
I don't agree with the positive reviews. I've used it for every wash, but my hair didn't lighten even by 1/10 of a shade. Not at all. However, the spray didn't dry out my hair as many people here claim.
Girls, this is shocking, but yes, the spray works! You have to be careful, of course, because it dries out your hair a lot, but any lightening product also dries it out. In short, this is a great find. For those who don't believe it, I recommend at least doing a strand test, and you will see how your hair lightens right before your eyes!
The spray really works. My brown hair has become a shade lighter. But don't get too carried away with it because it contains hydrogen peroxide.
With the help of this spray, I haven't been dyeing my hair for 5 years already. It's simply a great find for those who want their hair to be several shades lighter. I am really satisfied and will definitely continue buying it. I highly recommend it to everyone.
I do not recommend it. It gives a yellowish tint to the hair.
This product is absolutely amazing. It truly works and not only removes yellow tones from blonde hair like most products, but also lightens the hair. Even my natural dark roots became about 3 shades lighter. I am in shock. I will definitely be ordering more.
I am writing a review after using this spray for 2 years. Initially, I applied it 5 times on my entire hair after each wash. Gradually, my hair became lighter, starting with a reddish tint, and then I achieved a light wheat blonde color. Then, I started applying it only twice a month on the roots. I must say that the spray creates a "stressed" zone on the top part of the hair, which is the over-lightened section. This section becomes stretchy like a rubber band when wet, and no mask can fix it. The only solution is to let it grow out. After a year of using it, my hair became significantly thinner and started to look terrible. Previously, I could easily comb my hair even without conditioner, but now it requires a 4-step care routine to bring it back to normal. So, think twice before using it. If you want to make your hair slightly more golden, then it's a great option. However, if you have level 7 brown hair, the blonde color will be severely damaged.
Great spray! I compare it with the well-known L'Oreal Sunkiss, and I can say that John Frieda is much better.
Firstly, it gives my light brown hair much less red undertones. But I want to mention that if your hair has a yellowish tint, any hydrogen peroxide spray will most likely have the same effect. In this case, you either have to accept this fact or lighten your hair to the desired tone and use a special purple shampoo. And if there is absolutely no yellowing - only dyeing can achieve such an effect, no wonder colorists charge so much for their work, you can't achieve this effect with a spray that costs 300 UAH.
Secondly, this spray has no smell after hair drying. It also doesn't make the hair greasy, it even slightly dries it.
And thirdly, most importantly, after 3 applications, it noticeably lightened my hair while still maintaining a natural look and preserving strands with slight variations in shades.
This spray is great, it illuminates the natural light of brown hair. Yes, at first the shade becomes more yellowish, but if you endure and use it a few more times, you can achieve a beautiful color. I add a couple of drops of purple tonic to the conditioner or mask and the hair has a cool undertone. From my observations, it is better to use the spray rather than the shampoo from the same series, as the coloring looks more intricate, strand-like, and it damages the hair less.
My favorite product for maintaining a bright hair color after summer.
I have ordered this spray not for the first time, and it beautifully lightens the hair, lifting it by 2 shades from a brown shade. Now I only apply it to the roots. It's important not to use it too often because it can slightly damage the hair, but it is a wonderful alternative to complex dyeing techniques. It's quick and convenient.
I have dark brown hair, and after using this spray for six months, I have almost become a blonde. However, I use it moderately because the transitional color was not attractive. In the end, everyone thinks that I dyed my hair blonde. It gives a beautiful effect of sun-bleached hair.
I spray it on my roots as well, and in the summer, my strands instantly get bleached by the sun. Despite this, my hair remains just as soft and silky. I am thrilled with the results and will be ordering it for the second time.
It really lightens the hair. But be prepared to "turn ginger". I have light-brown roots (leaning towards grey) and almost blonde ends (which get sun-bleached). So now I'm a redhead. I use it after every wash. I don't blow-dry my hair. I don't notice any damage to my hair after using the spray. Don't apply it too close to the roots, otherwise you can see the regrowth, like after a failed lightening session. I think if you use it in the summer, when you're out in the sun, the effect would be just what you need.
I really liked this product. I use it once a week and do not blow dry my hair. It has made my hair significantly lighter without damaging it. I highly recommend it.
Not a bad replacement for the discontinued Loreal. Managed to achieve a wheaty shade in just two applications, although I did use a hairdryer.
I really wanted to lighten my hair, but as soon as I tried this product, I changed my mind. I remember how twenty years ago, we used to apply regular hydrogen peroxide on our bangs at summer camps, and by the end of the session, they would turn a light blond, almost yellow. This product gives the exact same effect, absolutely. It gives my hair a horribly yellow shade, completely unnatural (my natural hair color is light brown). Yes, the product may be good, but... my goodness, you can buy regular hydrogen peroxide, add a few drops of chamomile and lemon oil, and it will be cheaper with the same result. Maybe this product has its place, but the result is exactly the same as regular hydrogen peroxide, just slightly faster. By the way, it also smells like pure hydrogen peroxide, and if you spray it on your palm and leave it for a bit, it "eats away" just like that.
I really love this series. I have ash-brown hair, and the spray, combined with the shampoo and conditioner, gives the effect of a complex dye job! Every time I go for a haircut, the stylist is amazed at how beautiful the color turns out! And the hair is not damaged at all, it shines beautifully in the sun. I used the SunKiss gel from Loreal for several years before, but they discontinued it :( John Frieda came to the rescue because I really wanted a gentle lightening effect. This series is exactly what I needed! Thank you, MakeUp, for the wonderful work!
I absolutely love this spray! I have already used two bottles and will be buying a third. My natural hair color is light blonde, but I wanted to achieve an even lighter effect, as if I had just come back from the sea. This spray lightens my hair even after the first use: I apply it to damp hair and then blow dry with hot air. I also used it at the beach, and the effect was amazing. However, my friend, who has light brown hair, noticed a slight reddish tint after using it. Nevertheless, her hair still looks very beautiful and natural.
I highly recommend this product as it does not dry out the hair and provides a smooth transition in achieving the desired lightening effect.
The spray works! I use it on my natural auburn hair. The effect after 5 procedures is very noticeable.
I have been using this spray for about three months now. I used to use it more frequently, but now I only use it once a week. It is essential to use a hair straightener afterwards to achieve more noticeable results. My hair has changed from dark brown to golden. I haven't been able to achieve a light blonde shade yet, but I still like it. Initially, it had a slight yellow tint, so I toned it with Concept blond shampoo and conditioner. It does damage the hair, but not excessively. However, if you use heat protectant and do weekly hair masks, everything works great.
The smell is pleasant, but it can be deceptive. It is necessary to use gloves and spray with maximum caution, as it may cause irritation. Another downside is the "red hair effect" if used excessively or frequently. However, overall it works and lightens hair tone by 1-2 shades when used moderately.
Amazing spray! It gives a fantastic sun-kissed effect to both blondes and those with light brown hair. Everyone compliments me and thinks I dyed my hair because it looks so beautiful and natural. As long as you use it moderately and keep your hair well moisturized, it won't cause dryness. I highly recommend using a heat protectant and oils to keep your hair in good condition.
I really liked the spray; its effect becomes visible after several applications. On the left side of the picture is how it was before, and on the right side is after using the spray.
Great product! I use it together with the lightening shampoo, and after the third use, my hair noticeably lightened (originally dark-brown) and acquired a pleasant golden shade. The color looks natural, which is pleasing. As for the downsides, the product does slightly damage the hair, but considering the presence of hydrogen peroxide in the composition, it is quite expected. Good hair care and taking breaks between uses solve the problem.
Thank you. It is pleasant to order and easy to receive. Thank you to all the staff and couriers. Now, let's talk about the product.
I ordered it for my daughter. We used to use the Loreal lightening spray, but it was discontinued. However, this spray has exceeded all expectations. The size is not small. I think it will last for a month. The quality is superb! We have never had anything like this before! The hair feels like it has been treated at a salon! The scent is like perfume... light and fresh. I highly recommend it. My daughter is thrilled... I will now order one for myself.
The spray is really cool and effective. I used a mask from the same series and didn't wait for any effect. I really wanted to lighten my hair in the spring, so I used the spray every day (in large quantities) for 15-20 days. After about 10-15 times, my hair looked like a blonde's (my natural color is medium brown), they weren't disgustingly yellow, they were the color of light wheat, and it was just amazingly beautiful. Additionally, they seemed much thicker and prettier from this color change. Then I realized that the spray was almost finished and stopped using it. After about 2-3 weeks, my hair started to grow out and looked black, and the wheat color turned into a light reddish. It was acceptable in the morning, but by the evening, my hair looked greasy, and the reddish color visually intensified the greasiness at the roots... It was the worst time. For the next 2 weeks, I suffered and hated this spray. Then I went on vacation for 2 weeks, and my hair got slightly sunburned, and everything became beautifully vibrant again. But after a few weeks, they turned reddish again... It's a period that needs to be endured, but if someone had warned me in advance, I definitely wouldn't have agreed to this experiment. Now, a year has passed, and my hair is shoulder-length, half brown, half light. It looks like a subtle highlighting, and all the hairdressers in salons are curious about how I managed to achieve this, and most people like the color, including me. However, I won't agree to such an experiment again. And just so you understand, for a whole month (in total, no less for sure!), everything was so bad that I even wanted to dye my hair back to my original color... But the decision is up to you.
The spray performs excellently in its duties :) The only thing is, I think the price is a bit high. It lightens the hair by means of hydrogen peroxide in its composition, which is a very cheap component. I will probably continue to buy it, but only if there's a promotion.
I decided to try this product for the first time. I have long, uncolored brown hair. The effect is amazing! I use it 1-2 times a week after washing my hair. After a month of use, the results are excellent. My hair has become noticeably lighter, with a beautiful and natural straw-like color. My hair hasn't gotten worse, but I also nourish it intensively with masks and various oil-based fluids.
Favorite spray! Thank you, John Frieda, for giving me the opportunity to enjoy warm hair color all year round without dye))) In the photo, you can see the difference after using it for 2 years. I don't use it excessively or obsessively, otherwise it could damage my hair.
It's a similar story, everything is just like Anna's... It noticeably lightens, but the hair also becomes dry and starts tangling...
The spray actually lightens the hair, BUT it contains hydrogen peroxide, so the color doesn't wash out and dark roots grow out. Another downside is that at first, the hair has a cool blonde, wheat color, but then it starts to turn yellow and looks like cheap hair dye. In general, it was not easy to get rid of it, I had to dye my hair with another dye to blend the roots, so be careful!
