Having tried a number of (including expensive ones) eye make-up removers, I've returned to Nivea Visage. It works as effectively as the others and is a fraction of the cost. I pop a few drops onto damp cotton wool for each eye, hold the cotton wool pad over my eye for a few seconds then gently wipe. Waterproof mascara, eyebrow gel and any eye shadow/eye liner is gently removed. What's not to like!?

The makeup removes excellently, but after using it, I have to wash the product off my face and eyes with a cleansing foam. Otherwise, the whole next day feels like there is an oily film in front of my eyes. I used this product several years ago, and everything seemed to be fine, maybe either I have changed or it has. For those reading reviews about this product, please note that the majority of positive reviews with 5 stars are unverified purchases, and these reviews are most likely fake. The composition of the product is terrible, and I genuinely don't understand why something like this is made and sold to people. Isododecane is listed second in the composition, which is a strong irritant that causes allergies. Phenoxyethanol, benzalkonium chloride - they all belong there too, causing allergies and irritation on the skin and mucous membranes. And this product is supposed to be applied to the EYES. In a rush, I impulsively grabbed the first two-phase product without checking the composition or reading reviews, and this is what I got. It's a nightmare, not a product.
I did not buy it here, but this product is terrible. It's a waste of money. It's strange that for someone, THIS can be considered the "best makeup remover." It stings the eyes terribly right away, and even after quickly washing off the residue with another product and water, it leaves an unpleasant feeling, as if oil with sand was poured into the eyes. Terrible makeup remover. I ended up with burns on my upper and lower eyelids, and the skin under my eyes became swollen and stinging. It claims to be dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested, but I have my doubts. I have never had such a reaction to an eye makeup remover before (I'm not allergic to any of the ingredients listed). I absolutely do not recommend it, as it's a waste of money and I have no idea what to do with it now.
This micellar water is great! It didn't cause any allergies, unlike many others. This is my second time purchasing it, the first time was not for makeup. The only thing I didn't like is that it's a bit too oily, and after using it, I feel like I want to wash my face.
