Having tried a number of (including expensive ones) eye make-up removers, I've returned to Nivea Visage. It works as effectively as the others and is a fraction of the cost. I pop a few drops onto damp cotton wool for each eye, hold the cotton wool pad over my eye for a few seconds then gently wipe. Waterproof mascara, eyebrow gel and any eye shadow/eye liner is gently removed. What's not to like!?

The composition of the product is terrible, and I genuinely don't understand why something like this is made and sold to people. Isododecane is listed second in the composition, which is a strong irritant that causes allergies. Phenoxyethanol, benzalkonium chloride - they all belong there too, causing allergies and irritation on the skin and mucous membranes. And this product is supposed to be applied to the EYES. In a rush, I impulsively grabbed the first two-phase product without checking the composition or reading reviews, and this is what I got. It's a nightmare, not a product.
