Hair Cream Color - Revlon Professional Revlonissimo Anti Age Technology High Coverage XL150
I have used this hair dye twice with a break of just over 1 month. It completely damaged my hair: they have become dry, they fall out terribly, and they break easily, feeling artificial to the touch. Even a perm did not damage my hair as much. I followed the instructions strictly and left it on for the minimum recommended time. Maybe it's because I used a non-native oxidizer, but I don't want to experiment anymore. I'm going back to Matrix.
To achieve long-lasting root coloration, it is necessary to mix the dye in a 1:1 ratio. This way, it will effectively cover both stubborn grays and lighter regrowth.
I am disappointed with the paint, what happened to it? I was looking forward to the 9.23 coloring, but the 9.32 colored the yellow roots and a golden ash chestnut along the length. All the gray hair remained, this has never happened before, even with the original Revlon 6% developer and the recommended processing time.
For gray hair, it is necessary to pre-segment the lighter shade from the one you want to dye or gold. Dilute the paint with warm water at a ratio of 1:1 (obviously not from the tap?). Leave it on for 20 minutes and without rinsing it off, apply the mixture of paint with the developer. The result is colored gray hair, even coloring, and the color does not fade for a long time. If you also use color maintenance products such as shampoo, conditioner, and mask, the color will last even longer.
9.23 shade looks exactly like it does in the picture, if it matches your natural hair color. It's a soft caramel shade with a beautiful shine. Shade 10 has a lot of platinum in it, and it effectively removes any yellow or reddish tones. However, be careful when using a strong developer or not mixing it with another shade, as it may give your hair a tinted gray look. By the way, ash gray is currently the trendiest color of the 2016 season. If you have blue eyes, they will appear even bluer with an ash gray shade.
I toned my Khadi henna with Revlon's bleaching powder in shades 9,23 and 10. The beautiful platinum color balanced out the yellowness and slight orange tone from the henna bleaching, resulting in a pretty shade. It didn't completely cover my gray hair. Next time, I will try applying it to my roots, as I think it will cover well. Maybe I should add more developer. Check the instructions for the recommended ratio of 60ml of color to 90ml of 6% developer. That should give better results.
I have been using this hair dye for quite some time now, shade 7. The color looks very natural, and for medium-length hair, half a tube is enough. I dye my hair once a month, so one tube lasts me for two months. I like that it doesn't dry out my sensitive scalp. And, of course, it covers gray hair perfectly.
Girls, what percentage should I use to cover 80% gray hair? I bought hair dye 6.0 and 6.12, mixed them, and used a 6% developer from Matrix. I liked the color, but the gray hair only held for 50 minutes. In two weeks, the color washed out and you could see the transition, even though I used a Revlon color-sealing product when I dyed my hair. I would like to stick with this dye because my hair is falling out less compared to ING, but ING with a 6% developer gave a solid color and I only needed to dye the roots when they grew out, but I experienced significant hair loss. So, can anyone advise me on using this dye with gray hair?
I have no complaints about the quality of the paint, in fact, it covers gray hair perfectly and even improves the condition of the hair. However, what happened with the color? The lightest blond shade, number 10, turned out to be reddish. Now I am completely confused about which shade to buy. This has really upset me.
The paint is really good, I have been using it for two years. It is my favorite choice, with a rating of 9.31. Next time, I will give the 9.23 a try.
I use this hair dye to color my mom's hair. I like that there is no need to mix colors to achieve the desired shade. You just have to choose the color you like and voila... You are dyed in exactly the same shade as in the picture + 100% coverage of gray hair. It feels like a professional-level dye.
