Did not meet expectations. I wouldn't say it softens the beard significantly. A good balm does a much better job. Additionally, I am wary of the alcohol in the ingredients, which inevitably dries out the skin and hair. Moreover, the method of use is unclear. The jar says one thing, the makeup says another. The scent is pleasant, and the menthol refreshes the skin. Another plus is the affordable price. However, I wouldn't buy it again.
