Eyeshadow - Pierre Rene Palette Match System Eyeshadow (refill)
I bought 2 shades, № 76 (with a pink undertone) and 62 (with a golden undertone). Both shades are beautiful, but the eyeshadows themselves have a significant difference in quality. Shade 76 applies well on a brush and blends easily, while shade 62 is hard and dry, impossible to pick up with a brush, sponge, or even fingers (despite having a good shelf life). It doesn't blend at all.
The eyeshadows are not the same shade as shown on the website. The quality is terrible, and they were not worth buying. I do not recommend them. I would rate the product 1 star, but I gave it 3 stars due to the excellent service provided by my favorite store, which I adore.
I have been using shade #85 as eyebrow shadows for several years. I have ordered them in different years - sometimes they had a noticeable shimmer, sometimes almost without it (which allowed me to use them for my eyebrows). The last time I got them, the shadows were very compact, dry, and dull. They hardly stick to the brush - I could barely pick them up with my finger, and even then, it took a long time to apply. They are completely invisible on the eyebrows, and it's impossible to apply them on the eyelids. I could barely manage to apply them using the "wet method," which means dampening the brush. Perhaps the manufacturer did something wrong/changed something. It's a pity because the color is the perfect taupe for my eyebrows. Please compare the photo - the first one shows how this color used to be, and the second one shows the current color. It's really unfortunate.
Shade 85. The perfect taupe, only with a subtle silver micro-shimmer that is barely noticeable. I have oily eyelids, but these eyeshadows did not crease throughout the entire day. However, in reality, they are very tiny. It's a pity this shade is not available in a larger pan.
The texture is quite good, but it is hard to accurately guess the color as it differs from the picture. If you had the chance to test it in person and know the actual color, it would definitely be easier to make a choice. Overall, the texture is quite good.
I have already written, but let me add the color numbers: 99, 75, 87, 90, 76. For those who love pink makeup, this is perfect. The gloss is very nice, and the makeup lasts all day (I use Mary Kay primer).
are exactly as they appear in person. The shadows are amazing, with great pigmentation. I also appreciate that the colors on the screen match the actual product.
The eyeshadows are easy to apply and work better when applied on a base - they last all day and don't smudge even in hot weather. On the downside, they tend to be dusty and some colors have weaker pigmentation. It's also difficult to navigate the palette on the website. I swatched them under artificial lighting (neutral white light), which might help someone. In real life, shade 73 and 60 are more saturated but not vibrant, while shade 65 is a beautiful light silver (the photo doesn't do it justice). Shade 100 is a color that some may like, a graphite gray with a hint of purple, but it looks a bit dirty.
I give it five stars because in my case, the color matches the one in the picture. Yesterday, I finally tested the eyeshadows. The color is very rich. They do tend to have fallout, but they stay on quite well.
Not bad, only one downside - they create a lot of dust. It's easy to pick up the brush, but the whole magnetic palette gets covered in dust of this color =D
The eyeshadows are of average quality, shade 87 is a pale pink with a subtle pearl finish. They have a tendency to produce a lot of fallout and the lasting power is average. I am disappointed.
I am very pleased with these eyeshadows. I purchased shade 99, a vibrant purple. The color appears slightly darker in the picture, resembling a prism. The application is easy and enjoyable. I like to apply it on top of light matte brown eyeshadows, creating a shimmering effect that looks great.
These eyeshadows are of good quality and have a subtle shimmer. However, no matter how hard I tried to find the right shade (I looked at all the photos online), I still couldn't guess correctly... It's a pity... But I am satisfied with the quality. The palette comes in a blister pack, which is convenient, especially for occasional use! I chose shade 99 (I tried my best to capture it in the photo).
(P.S. It would be great if all buyers added photos of the shades they purchased. It only takes 2 minutes and would help in making the right choice when buying products online, based not only on reviews but also on live photos... Just a thought.)
Great eyeshadows!!!! I got shade № 76 - a pinkish-creamy pearlescent with shimmer. It lasts the whole day, applies perfectly, and I use it without a base. The only downside is the inconvenient blister packaging that the eyeshadows come in. In order to be able to open and close it without damaging the contents, I turned the eyeshadows upside down. In terms of quality, they remind me of Mary Kay, but there the packaging is more convenient.
Good quality, easy to apply, no fallout, soft. I bought size 46 and the color differs slightly from the picture, it is lighter in reality. It is a pearly cool beige shade.
The eyeshadows are quite good, they stay on even without a base. I got the shade 55, which is an interesting color. I haven't seen anything like it before, it's a dark steel with a blue undertone. The color palette on the website doesn't accurately represent the shade, so I'm hesitant to try other tones. Also, it's inconvenient to use because of the blister packaging. Maybe there are similar cases like the ones from ArtDeco available for them.
Great eyeshadows! They apply evenly, last a long time, have a beautiful matte color, and are well-pigmented.
