The serum has an oily texture. For those with oily or combination skin, it is more likely a no than a yes. Applying it in the morning is not an option at all, only for nighttime use. It has a herbal scent. I have combination skin, so I only apply it in the evening. It nourishes and moisturizes well, like any nourishing cream. I don't see any other effects.
