Hydrolat is an excellent base for shampoos and hair rinses. It is recommended for skincare before applying heavy creams or oil-based masks. This natural toner also helps combat wrinkles and sagging skin by toning and deeply moisturizing.
I really liked the hydrolat! I got it for the summer to refresh and hydrate my face after being outside. It has a pleasant, light mint scent and provides excellent hydration.
In a small bottle, there's clear liquid that I use as eye patches. It works great to relieve tension, cools the skin, and seems to brighten the area without drying it out.
Since I had previously used a mint hydrolat from a different Ukrainian brand, I decided to splurge this time and get a liter-sized bottle. I was quite surprised by what I received: it seemed like the manufacturer might have mixed something up and sent a concentrated mint extract instead of the usual hydrolat. The liquid is a bright green color with an extremely strong mint scent (my husband joked that it could be used to treat a cold), and when applied to the skin, it creates an icy bath effect. You need to be very careful when spraying it on your face—if it gets on the skin around your eyes, it can sting a little. However, as a refreshing toner throughout the day, especially in the summer heat, it’s fantastic! Just be prepared for the strong minty gum smell.
The scent of this product is a very fresh mint, and it lasts throughout the entire use. I previously used a different brand, where the fragrance quickly disappeared, like herbal tea losing its aroma by the fifth day. This product doesn’t have that issue. The mint hydrosol works best on oily shine—I spray it on my shiny face, and after a while, the shine disappears. I haven't noticed any other effects, but I must admit it becomes a habit—I find myself wanting to use it a couple of times a day. Next time, I plan to try lavender or grapefruit instead of mint.
Here's a refreshing scent for you—like fish at the market! It took me a while to get used to it. Overall, it's fine—it doesn't dry out or tighten the skin. Of course, it doesn't have any miraculous effects. After all, it's just a simple toner.
I didn't purchase it here, but it has a very pleasant and refreshing scent. I use it as a toner in the morning and evening to remove leftover makeup. However, don't expect any miracles—it's just a simple facial water.
