Reviews about Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme

I have gathered 10 shades of this liquid lipstick, and I have mixed feelings about it.

There are shades that apply better, but there are also those that were mentioned negatively in the comments, and I regret not listening to them - shades 20 and 42. They look completely identical (a dark burgundy color), dry quickly, and immediately start flaking off in chunks. This is clearly a problem with the formula of the lipstick. Compared to the liquid matte lipsticks from L'Oreal, L'Oreal's lipsticks take about 10 times longer to dry and they stay on much better.

There are also some decent shades, for example, shade 32 which is a slightly more long-lasting dark brown, a very beautiful color. Shades 10 and 26 are intense nudes. Shade 15 is an intense pink but it flakes and crumbles just like shades 20 and 42.

There are also some decent shades like 11, 12, and 25, but they are warm-toned and don't suit me.

Overall, all of these lipsticks are very dry and have an unfortunate applicator and consistency (too liquidy). If compared to L'Oreal, L'Oreal definitely wins in terms of application, longevity, and the fact that it is less drying.

If we compare the experience of using these liquid lipsticks with Milani's regular lipsticks, the regular ones are much better in terms of colors and are also interesting, although unfortunately they don't have much better longevity.

The lipstick is beautiful, shade 14 applies smoothly and looks great. However, it does not fade nicely, but instead comes off in chunks. Shade 14 is a very dark burgundy, darker than shown in the photo.

I am delighted with this purchase of the only long-lasting lipstick that does not dry out the skin.

I have shades 13 and 14. The colors are beautiful, vibrant, and bright - there's nothing to complain about in that regard. However, the lipstick is extremely temperamental and not long-lasting. It applies in a thick layer, very, VERY drying - it feels like a crust on the lips. When you smile, it cracks, flakes off in the corners, and God forbid you try to touch it up without removing the previous layer - it starts peeling off in chunks, leaving patches on the lips. It's only suitable for showing off, as long as you don't smile, talk, or eat anything. On top of everything, it leaves imprints on everything it touches. And the colors, of course, are beautiful. It's just the quality that is terrible.

This lipstick is not your average one, but it is indispensable for a specific occasion. You only have one chance to apply it correctly, otherwise it will be difficult to remove without ruining everything around it. Before applying, I recommend watching a video tutorial on lipstick application if you haven't had experience with such long-lasting lipstick before (preparing the lips with a scrub and balm, applying and blending lip liner, applying the lipstick from the edges to the center, patting it with a finger, and allowing it to dry with a smile). The extra effort paid off when the lipstick survived a banquet with food, drinks, dancing, and singing for a total of 10 hours. The color 14 is divine and beautifully rich, a very evening shade. The lipstick has a velvet finish and looks very expensive, and it doesn't dry out the lips! On the downside, it dries quickly and cannot be layered with a second, even thin, coat. It may apply unevenly if it has partially dried in certain areas. With some practice (I applied it at home three times before the event), it can be applied beautifully and evenly. Now I want to try a lighter shade. I recommend this to girls with good skills and/or determination.

The color 18 obsession is a very beautiful shade - a violet-berry color. There are many berry shades out there, but this one has a distinct violet note! However, it can be quite temperamental.

I have a large collection of different matte lipsticks - some are drier, some are softer, but I can find a way to make them all work. I can apply almost all of them without a lip liner and subsequent touch-ups. But this one...

It can only be applied with a lip liner because mistakes are not forgiven! It dries quickly. It needs to be applied in a thin layer, as a thick layer will definitely crumble. On the inner part of the lips, it almost immediately gets eaten up. But afterwards, it stays put.

And here I am, trying for the third time, and still, the edges are lighter and the center of the lips is darker. My husband thinks it's an intentional ombre effect. Yeah, right!

This lipstick is fantastic, the best among all the liquid matte ones I've tried. It applies evenly and effortlessly, and its staying power is truly remarkable. Contrary to what others have mentioned, it doesn't come off in chunks. The shade 15 matches the photo perfectly, with a distinct raspberry undertone. It's incredibly beautiful and rare, and I've received countless compliments while wearing it.

I really liked this matte lipstick! It goes on easily and quickly. I have shade 10 and it looks amazing, the quality is excellent and it's very long-lasting. It can be a bit drying, but unlike other matte lipsticks, there is no discomfort at all. I will definitely try other shades.

This is a fantastic little thing! You should apply it to moisturized, well-cared-for lips. Do it quickly and with a thin layer. That way, everything will be fine.
