I received this perfume as a gift when I was 18 years old (and now I'm 38, just for a moment :))). My first impression as an 18-year-old was that it was some expired set - it seemed like the scents from my grandma's closet and something very outdated. The cream was nice right away, and the perfume, by the way, also didn't seem so terrible after some time. But the toilet water... this bottle has been with me for 20 years, and I have only used about 1/3 of it :) However, I guess age takes its toll - my latest attempt to befriend this fragrance wasn't as much of a failure - I can wear it, but only in a special mood, mainly in autumn - it's very heavy, warm, mostly white floral... retro.
The fragrance is pleasant and unique, with a spicy and floral scent, perfect for travel.
Unfortunately, it is a completely different scent... nothing similar to the original from the 90s... it's a shame.
Gorgeous fragrance! Although I haven't purchased makeup before, I once received an original perfume from France as a gift. I am really looking forward to finding not only the "Amarige" eau de toilette but also the perfumed version in your collection.
This fragrance is an acquired taste, in my opinion, more suitable for mature women. I wouldn't recommend buying it without testing it first. I received it as a gift about 10 years ago, and it's hardly been used since.
Givenchy Amarige is a rich fragrance. It is delicious, like very sweet jam made from mimosa pollen. Shortly after, the sweetness is replaced by a hint of bitterness and a beautiful base note of "a floating elf among flowers!" It feels like spring in a bottle, long-lasting with a lingering trail, softer than Givenchy Organza. I highly recommend it. Thank you, Makeup!

It has a very cozy and feminine scent. The fragrance is calm, pleasant, and warm. I am 49 years old, so my opinion is subjective, but I believe that classic femininity will never go out of style and will suit anyone.
Amarige is a bright and distinctive floral fragrance that instantly unfolds on the skin with a very interesting bouquet of bitter and sweet flowers. There is a hint of sweetness, but it is not overpowering. For me, it is more about the mimosa, orange blossom, and tuberose. It is primarily a fresh, sharp, slightly bitter floral scent, with a floral sweetness lingering in the background.
It is a vibrant and intense floral fragrance in which it is intriguing to discover new nuances. Its sillage is noticeable even in open air and windy weather.
I am delighted to have it in my collection!

I didn't expect Amarige to be so similar to the fragrance Poeme by Lancome, based on my perception. Both fragrances have 11 identical components. Amarige is more modest, but still very strong, long-lasting, warm, and gentle. Both fragrances are beautiful, but I was hoping for new experiences, and instead, it feels like a continuation of what I already know.
Incredible sound luxury, insane durability, and a long-lasting trail. It reveals everything note by note - yes, this is the exact Amaris that I remember. I purchased the 100ml bottle, and I will definitely get another one whenever it's available on Make Up Shop.

I absolutely love this fragrance. I have been living with it for many years now. It has an incredible longevity and sillage. Even with the slightest increase in heart rate, it bursts into a new wave of breathtaking warm floral variations, enveloping everyone and everything. It requires a special application technique. I prefer applying it on the neck, décolletage, and hair. The most reliable method is to spray it on and step into the fragrant cloud - you will immediately understand what the fuss is about. The perfume instantly starts to reveal a thousand facets, shimmering and playing on the skin. Those who have experienced this bliss will understand...
I received this product in a gift box (perfume, cologne, scented cream).. I'll be honest, I didn't appreciate this gift right away. At first, it seemed disgusting, "old" and elderly, suffocating, basically anything but my taste. I even thought the gift was expired. I hadn't touched it for a long time, except for the cream, which had no complaints, it was lighter... Recently, I applied the fragrance on my wrist again, the initial notes still didn't please me, but the aftertaste remained positive... The fragrance unfolded quite tastefully... Maybe I'll even start using it... But very sparingly.
I fell in love with this fragrance in my early youth, but time passed and I managed to forget about it. Somehow, I ordered a sample of Amarige MARIAGE on MakeUp and... it all came back. But in a different way, more maturely. :) It's also a very good scent, with a lot in common with the classic Amarige, but unfortunately, the sample ran out quickly. And that's it! Nowhere to get it! It's not available on this website. I checked with Brocard, they said they don't have it. I want to have both in my collection, but in smaller sizes.
At home, we have around 40 bottles of different sizes from the brand Givenchy (my wife and I are avid fans). AMARIGE is no exception. Like all Givenchy scents, this fragrance is special. It is impossible to describe its components or break it down into individual parts. The fragrance smells like a whole, very subtly and incredibly pleasant, almost velvety. I adore it.
